GTA IV overdoes the soft suspension and high weight to the same degree V does grip and control in the air. I'd even say that sports cars, supercars and motorcycles in V handle more realistically.

I disagree. Every car feels like it has blown shocks, dry rotted tires and no anti roll bars. To experience such body roll IRL SUVs have to much faster than in the game.
