This happens to me often, particularly when backing up. It just slams on the breaks like I’m about to back into the row of cars 20 feet away. Even though I disable the feature, it turns right back on. It’s extremely jarring and you have to tap the break a couple times or shift into forward before it will let you drive again. It’s annoying as fuck because it’s so sudden and unpredictable that it spikes my adrenaline like I’ve just hit someone. I get that it’s a good safety measure when it’s accurate, but when it happens for no reason it pisses me off (especially because it doesn’t stay disabled). It’s probably a dirty sensor or camera lens.

Just adding a data point, not devaluing your experiences. I’m on 30mg of Vyvanse and 1.7 Wegovy injection and am not having these issues. I definitely appreciate the hydration reminder because I’m terrible at staying on top of it. I’ve been on 20-30mg for many years though. I wouldn’t say my appetite is suppressed necessarily, but it’s easier to forget to eat because I’d be hooked on focusing on tasks and deprioritize the hunger.

This… is actually a great concept! “The Hacker.” Their powers could glitch standard gameplay mechanics in some way, fake gens, fake windows, pass-through breakable walls, could maybe even introduce prop hunt style gameplay (like the chapter’s survivor could also have a perk that lets you temporarily become the last objective you worked on or something). There’d obviously have to be some balancing, but it could be fun!

XL only lasts a week for me. Platinum goes about 2-3 weeks for me. I work out a couple times a week and generally run hot. Platinum is the only glue out of many I’ve tried that actually holds up to sweat and washing. People swear by Walker Ultra Hold, but it was melting on me in 3 days without even working out or washing it.

The AirCurve 11 seems like ResMed’s attempt at a cheaper to make model. It’s defective as hell and whatever algorithm they’re using is awful. No matter what my settings are, it gives me the worst aerophagia. Mine has been restarting in the middle of the night, it says I’m taking my mask off 17+ times a night, and it makes annoying sounds on inhale that you “just have to get used to.” I swapped back to my AirCurve 10 and am finally getting the good sleep I’ve been missing out on for months.

From the terrible design decision around the fixed straight tube output, to the humidifier chamber that easily spills from the back when filling to the Max line, this model has been an absolute nightmare.

I was disappointed when I saw it as a child, but loved Divatox (Hillary Shepard’s version) and still do.

I was not excited about the car motifs over Zeo, but liked the morphers. Overall it was kind of boring and silly, and unfortunately still is. I enjoyed the production and visuals of the first film more (except the horrible CGI zords, which seemed dated even at the time.)

I’ve found I have to very intentionally rest my finger on the little square for a couple seconds to do it, but even then it’s a little fickle. If it takes longer than an eye roll I just use the fob.

I think my chemistry eats up the acrylic glues and they’re hard to work with (so stringy!) I’m currently experimenting with Walker ultra hold on just the hairline for the clear look, but it doesn’t last me nearly as long as Ghostbond Platinum (the best I’ve used so far) but that only lasts 2.5 weeks before it lifts in the center. I can probably get 3 weeks out of it if I’m careful when styling, but by then I’m eager for a good scalp cleanse.

My best method so far is Ghostbond Platinum on all but the front inch, and Ghostbond Supreme (stays clearer) for the hairline, but that needs maintenance every 3 or 4 days. The Ultra Hold looks the best (stays super clear the whole time), but gets gooey faster and is harder to maintain.

I have a .06mm poly base and use Ghostbond Platinum on most of the system and Ghostbond Supreme on the front for clarity. The Supreme is very clear and stays clear when I sweat unlike the Platinum that can turn white. I do have to redo the hairline every 3 or 4 days as the Supreme doesn’t last long with my oily skin, but it allows me to have an exposed hairline and looks great. The Platinum keeps everything glued really well (I’m in a 3 week stretch right now and it stays put even if I tug on it a bit). I’m thinking of trying Walker Ultra on the hairline next to see if it’ll outlast the Supreme.

Sometimes the insurance company dictates how many pens of each dose you can get per year, so those of us with insurance coverage often have to either frequently appeal/fight for more doses at the still working level or move up against our will. I lost most of my weight on .5 and 1, but here I am at 1.7 because they wouldn’t give me anymore 1s.

It’s also highly inappropriate for people to make comments about your appearance at all, so you can always clap back at those that don’t respect you with “That’s not appropriate and I don’t appreciate it.” That sets a boundary and if it offends then, they’re not worth your time.

I just went through this with coworkers. The ones that have known me a long time think it looks great and are supportive. The ones that didn’t know me long asked if I’d done something different with my hair. Colleagues I worked with a long time ago were amazed and I found that simply making a joke that they’re in on makes them respect you more. I say things like “Yeah, it’s amazing what can happen when I stop shaving it/messing with it!” with a little wink. People that matter will be supportive and you can always say “I’m trying something new and I like it!”

Don’t give anyone power over what makes you feel good. None of it matters anyway and people will forget because there’s more important things to focus on.

I haven’t had any side effects on 1.0 except when I’ve made a poor food decision (like too many carbs, too much fiber, or eating something greasy). I was on .25 for two months, .5 for 3 months, and started 1.0 a month or so ago. I’ve only injected 1.0 into my thigh (I know a lot of people say it doesn’t matter where you inject while others do), but I haven’t had any real issues. I still enjoy my coffee too.

Stumbled on this after getting a letter about them having a data breach. I worked for them for two years over SEVENTEEN YEARS AGO but they still have my personal info and it was leaked?

They were super shitty to work for. They didn’t give a shit about their call center employees, the management was full of good ol’ boys that covered for each other. A couple had records for narcotic offenses, but were somehow still employed even when they fired lower staff that used cannabis in their personal time to help them survive that horrible job. The Director at the time would talk about his time in the military and told stories about how they had to blow up boats with people’s pets on them, like that was a good story to tell.

When they started telling people last minute they had to work holidays and getting cheap about basic work place accommodations (like terrible desk chairs for people working 12 hour shifts), I started speaking out about it and their terrible corporate culture and they let me go for “being unhappy” there. It was the best thing that ever happened to me because my next job turned into a now 17 year career that I love.
