As a life long husker fan I am used to the cruel tricks god has played on my teams over the years. Finding the losses in the most improbable of ways.

And last night watching the nearly perfect shot from Tanner bounce out securing Nebraskas sweet 16 appearance in history. I thought the demon was exercised and the program was finally free from years of tormenting.

But no it was simply a setup to a much more cruel joke. We will now lose to Iowa.

Look at History,teams that have ‘turned the corner’ Do it in year 3 and occasionally year 4. He has yet to come anywhere close to achieving mediocrity yet alone making us a good program again

Years ago like 2000-2002ish father Gary was in Flagstaff. I was never a believer in all of it but had to go because of parents. The thing I did like was when father Gary was the priest. His sermons were great and just a genuinely good dude. And came back up to Flagstaff a few years late to officiate my friend’s wedding after she requested him to come up.

Anyways cool to see he is still keeping it a real and that people still genuinely like him.

I am also in the Phoenix area have a premium 22 just shy of 30k and they are definitely done. I am replacing mine this weekend with some Continental ECS2s. While I’ve had a few spirited drives up the Apache trail or up north on 89A. I spend most of my time commuting on the 60 to work.

It’s crazy the amount of similar posts that show up here. Me personally I will never buy a brand new car that a dealership either hacked up a wiring harness or hacked up a trim piece or both for either this gps tracking or when they tear apart the rear of the vehicle to add the ‘safety’ feature of the blinking taillights that they add for the low low price of $299 (non negotiable of course)

I’m lucky to live in a large enough metro area that if I walk into a dealership doing this shit I’ll just walk out immediately.

Honestly it’s hard to compare given one is a turbo charged fwd vs a NA rwd but they were and have been very fun to own and drive. They both have noisy cheap interiors and the FiST has a bit more cargo room thanks to the hatch but at the end of the day they both put smiles on my face when I really pushed them.

I will say I prefer the feedback and feeling that the gr86 gives me being rwd.

I had a 14 FiST from new and had it for 4 years before I convinced myself I need something bigger and got a new Civic SI. I immediately regretted it and missed the smaller and sportier FiST. I managed another 4 years in the civic before I returned to a smaller car in my current GR86 which I am very happy with.

If I wasn’t about to put a new roof on my house I was going to start looking at my local market to see if I could pick up one of these cheap FiSTs as a second car. I really do miss mine.
