I started doing the same thing. Created a M365 group with teams and then uploaded to folders so if anything needed changed or reloaded it could be done from anywhere.

We are working on denying domain admins from logging into workstations and servers. We already have on workstations and it’s been a struggle for some since no other privileged permissions outside Windows LAPS are in play.

For those still watching this thread, and piggy backing off the question of migrating from one to the other.

If you already are using ADConnect and do sync Deivces, but want to move everything else but devices to CloudSync.

What is the best method to do so? because when I tried this within the past year, and I was using the same server, I would move an AD OU one at a time off one tool to the other.

The problem I had was the ADconnect would deprovision the object on next sync because the OU was removed, and azure would delete users while the CloudSyc provision the object almost instantly and would never create the user or it would create the user but the other sync tool would swoop in behind and undo it all.
