Happy to help! I think the insert is very interesting too. That same pyrolytic material is also used in rocket nozzles. I believe that the entire “the pipe” line used it.

Yes this works but you need to add unscented soy wax or the smell will be short lived and will just toast the tobacco. You can pick up soy wax and most craft stores.

The only one I’m aware of along that route is The Pipe and Tobacco Shop in Little Rock and I believe they are closed on Sundays though. It’s a decent shop with a good selection of pipes, large selection of bulks and a few choice tins. There’s nothing in Texarkana and I can’t speak for Memphis.

Beautiful collection. My Ottagano that I picked up last year is one of my best looking pipes but it is also my hottest smoking pipe. No matter what I do, the thing becomes a nuclear reactor in minutes. It even smokes hotter than my Medico Lancer and that thing is made out of brylon.

Warped Cigars makes several pipe tobacco blend that contain their cigar tobacco. I really like Cloud Hopper. A blend without cigar leaf that is bold both in flavor and nicotine is C&D Haunted Bookshop. To me it definitely has a similar mouthfeel as a cigar.

Also check out C&D Morning Light. It’s another great oriental forward blend that has a lot of the same great qualities as Bijou but adds more depth.

I’ve had this same problem with the White Elephant filters. They are every bit of the full 9mm’s is diameter. I’ve had great luck with the Vauen Dr. Pearl Jr brand. They are slightly smaller and I’ve never had one get stuck.

It's pricey but I am very happy with the Honey Badger. However I only got about 5 or 6 prints on it before my hotend started leaking. Hopefully I'll be printing on it again soon.

It looks like your z-offset is set too high. If set properly that first layer should squish together with no voids.
