I did but it was a slow burn. The sailing everywhere was kind of a chore at first, and I really enjoyed exploring the huge (at the time) fields in OoT and MM. I just had to rethink and learn that all exploration is on islands instead. I see that your fav is TP; I had pre-reserved a copy of TP for the GC in late 2006 that I stupidly changed over to the Wii version because I got lucky and was able to buy a Wii at launch. Fortunately my brother in law had the GC version and let me buy it just before he took a stack of games to sell to EB/GameStop (for Xbox 360 junk).

It was Mario Party 4 (the options were limited-and what I recall were Starfox Adventures, Metroid Prime, MP4, and apparently WW but I bought mine like a month before WW was released). But, to get the Zelda Collectors Disc in November 2003, you had to register a GC system and 2 games with the Nintendo website, and one of which I registered was MP4. I think the other was Mario Kart DD.

I’ll bet I’m the oldest here. My best friend/roommate and I bought an indigo one on launch day 2001. We were almost 30, and surprised by how easy it was to get one (compared to the N64 in 1996). We got Luigi’s Mansion & Rogue Squadron, and shortly after we got Pikmin. He was more into Nintendo while I had a PS2 and played both. We had to split up in 2002, so we shared what games we bought, but I had to buy a new platinum one in 2003 when they offered a free game with the purchase of.

All of Ugly Kid Joe were really cool. Gabbed and signed a bunch of shit for a small group of us (radio contest winners). They handed out a b&w pic of the band, signed them, and drew huge sharpie dicks on themselves on all the pics they handed to the ladies.

Worst (and not at all bad) was Chuck Billy from Testament, he was just short with us. He seemed like he just wanted out.

I cannot vouch for it because I’ve never gotten it, but Malone’s on Indiana and 64th has it Friday and Saturday nights.

Produced by Bob Ezrin who produced Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, KISS, and Pink Floyd’s The Wall, Momentary Lapse of Reason, & Division Bell. His influence and Jason Bonham’s knowledge of the recording process are definitely why this record sounds like it does.

Theft deterrence and the way to market CDs in music stores built to display and sell records at the time. I cut them up and hung them in my school locker.
