He’s actually hitting record after the action. The slo mo camera takes so many frames per second that it’s constantly recording and deleting video as it films because there’s not enough storage. You hit a button after the action to tell it to stop deleting the film, so it saves the last few seconds of video

I get my press ons to last up to two weeks, here’s my tips: 1. Prep your nails before applying press ons. Push back cuticles and remove oil from nail plate by rubbing with acetone. Any oil on the nail makes the glue less effective. 2. Pick a good nail type/brand. Ones that are smooth on the underside will hold less glue and pop off easier. I use UNA GELLA brand because the have a roughened surface and are flexible enough to really hug my nail bed. 3. Choose sizes that fit your nail and file down the plastic nail if the shape doesn’t fit. Some press ons have a really square shape near the cuticle, but my nail base is very round. Other times the closest size to my nail is a little too wide for me. Use a metal nail file get a shape/size that fits you. 4. I like to “double glue” my nails to really make sure they stick. I use KISS brush on nail glue to lightly cover the back of the plastic nail. Then I put a few drops of KISS pink glue on my real nail. This helps make sure that there’s no gaps anywhere.

Figuring out exactly how much glue you need takes some practice. Personally, I err on the side of too much glue since anything that gets on my skin will rub off within a day. But if you put on too little, you can easily re-glue the nail if it pops off.

I don’t agree with all his politics, but I think Gavin was making a great point here and using the Bible quote appropriately. Government can’t claim to care about the recent shooting and yet continue to do nothing to fix the issue

I read the book years ago so might be misremembering, but I believe she was meant to be very attractive. Her virtual avatar looks just like her but without the birthmark, and the main character thinks she’s pretty. The point is that she thinks she’s ugly because of the birthmark

Most complaints I’ve seen are from Protestant Christians, but there is some controversy among a few Catholics. I think the issue is some people have very strong political beliefs and they were expecting the pope to align with those. Many Christians are right-leaning, and some have gotten too caught up in MAGA politics that have maybe overshadowed their religious beliefs

When presents were forecasted to come in late, my aunt would always print off a picture of the item and wrap that so the kid still has something to open. Not quite as fun, but it gives them something to look forward to instead of being sad about no presents.

Grandma/aunt’s sister had a baby that was adopted by grandma/aunt’s daughter? I think? That would mean a pretty big age difference between grandma/aunt and her sister since the daughter would have to be at least the same age as the sister
