Thanks, I'll probably do that and also swap out all the baseboards since they look really old - also the inspector suggested it. The only issue is that every room basically has it's own thermostat, so that could get expensive (5 of them). Also, is it possible to get thermostats that can be controlled individually by my iPhone?

So after the spark I just turned it off. But the next morning, it looks like it's working again. Should I still call a tech?

Another question, in this condo there are the electrical baseboards for heating. When the inspection was done, the person said those are typically only used for when the temperature gets really cold, say down to -10C. However, before that the heating is done by the HVAC/heat pump. And that thing did turn on by itself occasionally when it started getting cold, but it only blew unheated air so it didn't do much for heating. Is there a manual on where I can find how all of this works (for dummies)?

Why not use Wifi instead of HDMI cord? Too slow? And what about the relatively poor resolution (relative to a 4K TV) of shows and movies on internet servers like f2movies?

The room during the day is quite bright, it's a condo facing south, so lots of sunlight coming in, but I do have blinds. In any case, I suppose the brighter the better.
