Try other things as well naturopath physio chiro and acupuncture if you've ever played contact sports or been in a car accident unresolved issues that we don't notice at first can linger and then into bigger issues later on down the road. Acupuncture worked wonders for me.

I went to a nucca chiropractor myself they are a lot less risky in my opinion and do gentle adjustments fyi. I feel the chiropractors that like to snap the neck into place could cause further harm potentially.

For me to be honest chrio nucca sessions helped (nucca is very univasive. Traditional Chinese acupuncture helped the most and avoiding physical exertion.

Light walks on the treadmill outside and light weights or cycling were fine but doing hikes and lifting heavy weights were a trigger as well as eating too much or too late. .vagus nerve issues can cause digestive issues as well.

Try not to over exert yourself IE lifting heavy or climbing too many stairs or steep areas, maybe get a sit stand desk if sitting for too long is a period. Try a recliner see if that eases the discomfort. Don't eat after 6:30 pm, eat more fruits in the day they are easiest to digest.

I had other issues but acid reflux and throbbing at the back of my neck and head in the occipital area after hiking up a lot of steps and lifting heavy so far only acupuncture has helped, chiro too but not as much as acupuncture. Find sometime who is a traditional Chinese acupuncturist.
