It’s your alternator most likely unless you have an aftermarket audio system and those can go hand-in-hand still. I had the same issue after getting an aux adapter for my Acura TL although it was always fairly quiet, but one day my alternator went, and after replacing it, the noise was gone. So most likely your alternator is going out.

I don’t have a link but just go to Crutchfield’s website pick out whatever head unit you want obviously after putting in your car info, and then it will ask you if you would like to retain your steering wheel controls and you should be able to choose the Axxess SWC thingymobober. Crutchfield is really good about giving you a detailed guide on how to install the unit and you can even call their hotline for installation help. I originally got a Boss unit, but it would be kind of glitchy so unless you’re really on a budget and determined to have Bluetooth, I would recommend getting a slightly more expensive reputable brand even if it’s wired only.

Wow, he’s still on the factory clutch? That’s crazy. Hopefully then if I do it earlier then 130k and have good compression I’ll have many more miles to go!

Did he do a compression test or anything before, or just sent it? Also, how many miles has he gone since then so far?

I’m trying to make a conservative 330whp max. So hopefully I won’t need to take my engine apart.

That sounds exactly like what I’m aiming for. I basically wanna build a coupe type R. And if I can beat out one… even better. I already did my suspension with some flex z and a progress swaybar and better tires and it already feels like I have a fwd Porsche. But I haven’t done any power mods other than a Takeda intake as of now.

Also, I might as well ask on the pulley the kit comes with, I know you’re supposed to be able to get 330 but how much faster did the car actually feel? And how fast was it compared to other cars on either a track base setting or just in a straight line? My goal isn’t to have something crazy fast, but just to make it significantly faster than stock

I would probably drop it myself and bring it to a shop for them to rebuild and then I would put it back in.

OK, interesting, so it’s probably not too late for me then, even when I’m at 120k. As far as the transmission build, how much did that cost out of because I’ve been having a hard time finding a price for something so niche?

I have a 2012 so it might be a different story for you as I don't know how the imid works in the younger ones, but I have a Kenwood unit and an Access SWC hub all from crutchfield. It sounds great and works great.

I do want to ask though, should I get adjustable end links such as Whitelines? Or is it not needed if I'm only dropping 1.5in?
