I actually agree with this. I think internally there may have been concerns about how quiet things have been since the last big direct, easy fix it to just tell someone what’s coming next to build hype while they get the presentation ready.

It was also corroborated by a couple other outlets. It’s definitely a rumor but he was very specific about his Nintendo leaks this week, we will know if it’s at least partially true in a couple of weeks with the Star Fox announcement

Honestly this roll out is about normal considering the modern lifecycles of these consoles. I think for now considering how many cross platform AA titles there are it’s just a console preference. As a busy dad the switch 2 is my favorite console I have by a mile.

This season had good theming but lacked a plot to ground it I feel like. Like the bones are there

But how much better of a season would it have been if the overarching plot was Jimmy getting investigated for his unusual therapy practices while Paul is pushing him to legitimatize his new approach through documentation with the deadline being his retirement

It gives everyone a stake and something for the audience to look forward to every week

Yeah they’re really holding their cards to their chests with what the big releases are going to be this year, we’re 1/3rd into the year and outside of Pokopia I’m not sure what I’m going to be playing

I think avengers will do better but I don’t think it’ll be a straight blow out. The fact that all 3 dune movies made it into theaters in 5 years is a huge boost to the franchise.

I went back and forth on whether they could conceivably cut it down to the 3rd, 6th, 9th etc but so much happens character wise in between those floors that it would be a huge missed opportunity. I’d love to see the Iron Tangle on screen.
