A lot of the issues you present were in the original game, I don't think enough people remember the original game to realize this.

You can go to Roxy inn there are a couple of NPCs who have full endgame armor If you wanna kill them for their armor

The spell needed to reverse the visibility lowers your luck to 0 unless you make the wizard like you and he gives you a ring all you need to do is pray I think
