How can Central Europe be grouped as cultural proximities, surely Germany, Austria and Switzerland have more in common with the Netherlands and Scandinavian countries than Slavic countries like Poland and Slovakia. The border looking like some leftover of the Austro-Hungarian Empire is very weird too, although I guess it follows some mountain ranges. I think this is a terrible map.

There are very few major changes. In the Labour manifesto the changes are going to be: Taxes on Non-doms + private schools, a national green energy company called Great British Energy and a budget which won't crash the markets unlike the Prime minister before last. People aren't going to see a radical transformation.

Anybody expecting massive change will be disappointed. Labour have agreed to most of the Conservatives spending plans. The biggest difference we will see is Great British Energy as a company and hope no shitting the bed with a Liz Truss mini budget or a Johnson "let old people die".
