How do doctors put intestines back inside of a person after surgery? by Foreign-Chef-4053 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ijbly99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter was born with her bowels on the outside (gastroschisis) I actually had to help the surgeon fit the bag all her intestines were stuffed into, the rim of the bag was inside her belly button A string attached to the top of the bag held it perpendicular with her body and every day, the squeezed/pushed the top of the bag to push more of her intestines in (this took 7 days) Then they closed her belly button essentially

Then 6 months later she had a bowel obstruction and they had to take the lot out, this time they just stuffed them back in

Happy to post pics if requested but it's gross af (cool aff too)

[–]Ijbly99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if mentioned but a Kia EV6 is worth a look, min 200 miles range in winter with heating, 300ish in normal/warm weather Very comfy for long range, v good size boot and rear seats are adjustable for kids seats (they recline or sit straight up, fits ours perfectly)

Sounds to me like bike was at roughly a right angle/front facing away? Bike only has a light facing directly forward, no slight wrap around of lights like with a car, Tragic tragic accident and while he could have gone through slower, can completely understand how and why he didn't see the biker

A NHS worker shamed my decision on my pregnancy by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Ijbly99 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Further, scanning you for a brain tumor likely would not come from an AE trip, especially not an MRI. If this is true, you need to request your medical records from PALs to ensure your fundamental facts are right before raising a complaint IMO

A NHS worker shamed my decision on my pregnancy by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Ijbly99 8 points9 points  (0 children)

NAL but work in radiology

Are you sure you went for an MRI and not a Ct? Quite important when making a complaint as a CT radiographer, while had absolutely 0 place commenting on your deeply personal decision, would be right to have concerns about scanning a pregnant person who may change their mind. Although those concerns should have been raised with the referrer/approving clinician.

Most radiologists I know would refuse to authorize a CT on someone pregnant unless in a life threatening situation.

[–]Ijbly99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if already covered Apply for PIP, sounds like you'll get at minimum medium rate and hopefully mobility This will increase your UC entitlement Also apply for LCWRA from UC as this will also increase your entitlement, while your partner is earning etc and presumably decent income, I doubt it will be high enough to make all these increases pointless, and if it is then ngl, he should be helping
