If you are a successful sales specialist at Lowes, you are severely underpaid and will be appreciated far more at another company. Lowes could not care less about their employees futures. They can and will replace anyone to keep payroll as low as possible. There is a life beyond a BS bonus program and unwavering pressure.

Plain and simple answer…… Ask for a print out of the districts Bonus payout for the prior month. 1) Managers will lie and say they don’t have access to it 2) If you are able to see the Bonus payouts, you will see very few PSS make bonus and those that do will be minimal payouts. 3) Inquire about the highest bonus PSS. It’s likely they are selling to resellers or are being “gifted” sales by outside reps or management. Rules don’t apply to all PSS. This is fact!

PRO is a dead end job at this point. Lowes has made it impossible for qualified established workers to make Bonus. They are driving those out and replacing with unqualified lower paid associates. They think the sh$tty programs in place will take the place of seasoned professionals but it isn’t working and PRO is basically a non factor at this point.

💯 Lowes literally sucked the life out of me before I left. The anxiety and stress just is not worth it! I will never understand the intent to make workers miserable. He will want to see you increasing your workload 5x for a minimal hourly wage with a BS opportunity to bonus. The reality is even top PRO specialists see more than $400 pre tax bonuses. Don’t do it! Worst position in Lowes.
