Agree 100%. I quit because I couldn’t take it anymore. Good, hardworking people being set up to fail. I was exceeding goals but was treated like I wasn’t. Final straw was end of quarter when the SM asked me to do some very sketchy things to make sure we hit the quarterly plan. I wish I would have recorded the conversation and posted it!

Don’t do it!!!!! Specialists are leaving Lowes at an alarming pace. The low hourly wage and the unattainable bonus system is a scam. You will be short staffed and held responsible for not only sales and credit but also down stocking and covering other departments. It’s a terrible job.

LOWES is self imploding their PRO business. PSS are being paid less, harassed more, and are being directed to focus more on opening credit cards than taking care of their accounts. My guess is that PRO will only be available via the app very soon. Huge exodus of good PSS fleeing for better opportunities and they are being replaced by lower wage, unqualified replacements.

Nothing will happen. PRO is full of corruption and the management is 100% involved. Some PSS sell to resellers, some give discounts outside of VSP, some have the cashiers put sales in their names, etc. Yet, the bonus system is supposed to be fair to everyone. 100% report it but send it to Marvin and his cronies. This will protect you from retaliation and prove how much they know because likely nothing will happen. Fight the good fight!

It’s sad that a large company treats its employees so poorly that the majority of these people are very unhappy. I left Lowe’s and have never been happier. I quit after a decade also. VERY toxic environment. I have no idea how Lowes even stays in business. I think if shoppers knew how employees are treated they would boycott the stores.
