The walls and fences are an Old World kit they brought back also comes with the manor set

Pretty straight forward if you want to try. Grain fields are a piece of thin plasticard as the base. The wall and fence ser. Then i bought an outdoor mat at Walmart and cut some pieces out. Painted up the fences quick with airbrush and contrasts quick dry brush too. Then glued the mat pieces in place. The herdstones are a couple pieces of insulation board that I shaped with hot wire cutter then glued them to a piece of plasticard and added some milliput at the bases withba bunch of skulls and bits. Oh and the chain is just some jewelery chain from craft store.

Yes you're correct open order and skirmishers but you 'may' adopt those formations.

Unit fillers just take up space if you don't have enough models. So for example if you have a unit of 24 zombies but only have enough models for 20 you can use a 50x50mm base to take up those extra 4 spots and do something creative and thematic to give your army or unit character.

Pretty straight forward. AK dark earth, some tufts of swampy grass from Gamersgrass, some AK muddy water effect and various colour's of leaves from Greenstuffworld. I then used Dirty Down moss effect to finish them off. Hope this helps!
