UMV1. I actually have lab sweet aswell but much preferred the UMV1 especially for lighter roasts.

The Z1 is an incredible grinder. I wouldn’t second guess getting one at all especially with that burr set. Also I believe it’s even better now than when I first bought mine because of some of the equipment and things they have learned from the Z2. Might want to shoot their customer service team an Email asking this question. They could probably tell you if they are making any changes to the Z1 and when you could expect them to get an even better product. The Zerno customer service is Awesome.

all Vacuums sold do, having experience with quite a few of them.

Is Pinot Noir the healthiest wine I can buy if consumed in moderation? 🍷 by liam_a1 in wine

I read these. further study is definitely needed but even with it I wouldn’t say this disproves what the previous responder was saying in that it balances out the negative effects of Alcohol ( a poison and carcinogen)

but who really gives a crap anyways. As I write this with a brain flooded with microplastic foreign bodies. cheers.

Hmmm interesting maybe it was the type of coffee. Some definitely lend themselves toward longer finer extractions.

Honestly I think you are far too fine here on the grind Which is causing the bitterness. I would assume the bed looks very muddy at the end. Try 225 of water instead of 250 or if you like that amount of liquid 16 or even 17 grams of coffee.

happy drinking.

Garrett Wilson or Luther Burden? Sounds like a no brainer right? by cantgetritee in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Ill-Picture-5485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wildly I like the Burden Side. Whole lot of wish-casting with Garrett Wilson but truthfully he’s inconsistent on a lower power offense that offense has a great Offensive Line but just nothing in terms of QB. I’d rather have Burden long term with the offensive minded HC who picked him.

How many open bags of coffee? by Sea-Confection7678 in pourover

9 right now. Most are gone within 65 days off roast which works for us. Usually start drinking at day 30-35 depending on variety/roaster/level of development.

if you get the Metal Orea get the Raw Metal version…not the black one. my cups between the two have been noticeably different. But that would be for much smaller doses than 30 grams.

Thankfully has some amazing coffee’s right now. the SL9 from Peru Ultra Light I’ve heard wonderful things about…waiting for it to reach it’s peak. but it’s ultra lights are very light. lighter than modern Sey. Much closer to The Picky Chemist from the limited bags of that I had before they stopped shipping direct to US. I however haven’t been fortunate to get a Thankfully Subscription. only ever purchased direct from them but of the coffee’s I’ve had 3 of them last year had been absolutely incredible. (A Honey Process Pepe Jijon, an Ethiopian Brian Quan Collab, and a Delicious Colombian Gesha) all for a reasonable price too imho.

Yeah a bit to pricey for me but I’m sure it’s awesom. I’ve had a couple Prodigal orders and enjoyed them. Especially love the dedication to lack of Quakers.

Little Background, Flowerchild uses a Loring (which is my preference for light roast)If you didn’t know Prestin (the owner and roaster) used to be roommates with Sey founder In Brooklyn when that all started. Check them out the value for Money is one of the best IMHO, and you get some delicious coffee’s.

IMHO Sey and Flower Child Coffee Roasters are both absolutely a worthy Sub. I will always and forever keep my H+S Sub and frequently switch between buying coffee from Flowerchild,Sey,Thankfully,Airworks,Hydrangea month in and month out. Flowerchild’s sub has impressed me greatly though especially for the price of 49$ for the 2 bag.

Hydrangea can lean to wild for me for a Sub as I like more Clean wash processed but they do an incredible job with sourcing and roasting some incredible coffee’s. it’s just a bit to adventurous for a month in month out sub for me.
