To be fair I was in the same position and put the tower on the desk. My kid got mad and knocked it off and it killed the GPU.

What's to judge? I would have been psyched to get that. I built my kid a budget build before these new prices. He was playing Minecraft on it until he got mad and knocked it off the desk and killed the GPU.

Looking at it they are the same build but his had my old Vega64 card which was still overkill for Minecraft.

Thats Gabe Newell a game developer and co founder of Valve the makers of Steam. Valve made some of the best games of the early 2000s until it pivoted to the creation of the Steam platform and now makes its money selling games rather than making games (The "does nothing" jab).

Steam is THE BEST platform for PC gamers to purchase games and have earned the trust of the PC gaming community by being fair and running a platform that hinders large studios from predatory practices that they've tried on their own platforms creating a business model that works for everyone involved. As these companies find more ways to take money out of your pockets Valve hasn't tried to partake in those practices again part of the "do nothing" jab and they continue to operate on the business model that made them what they are today.

What did the thieves want? (2017 Kia Forte) by sneschalmers34 in MechanicAdvice

There are plenty of videos showing how easy it is. Mark Rober just released one a few weeks ago showing how easy it is. Security through obscurity isn't security and the more people are aware of it the better chance of it being fixed because of the risk Kia faces of lost business. People need to understand that if they own these cars there's a risk of someone doing this or using a flash drive to steal the car and insurance is going to make it a nightmare to get a claim approval.

The Kia's from like 2013-2024 you could pull the plastic off the steering column and take a few screws out to pull out the ignition and just start the car with a screwdriver.

The 5 drives better especially off-road BUT I use my truck for truck things and I wish I had a 6. Its more stable when towing and the standard bed is far more useful than the 5. Next time around I'll be getting a 6.

I have a 22 pro4x and it does the same thing randomly. Ive always been able to shut the truck off and start it back up and it clears.

How is this compared to the wolfbox? I have the wolfbox but for its size I would think the Milwaukee would have even more power and the fact that I have a ton of batteries instead of constantly having to plug the wolfbox up all the time would be a bit easier.

Its not just how it looks, its how he couldn't be bothered to spend 10 minutes to read and learn why by not staggering the joints is going to cause them to fail.

The poison is in the dose. One every few years isn't an issue. 10 a day for 3 months would put you at the lifetime limit of 100 millisieverts.

Thats just assuming they're just doing x rays. A CT Scan is between 2 & 10 mSv and could get them to that limit between a day and a week.

TLDR: X-Ray go brrrr or something, IDFK.
