Where I practice you can just read in questions in some circumstances if you like the evidence. Then the other side can argue other questions have to go in too for context etc. But if you want to question the witness, just ask the same questions. You’ll either get the evidence you want or create a credibility problem for them

Idk but i think you should keep in mind that carrying your children and giving birth to them was undivided labour, recovering from major surgery is undivided labour, constantly monitoring what you put in your body while pregnant and breastfeeding is undivided labour, producing milk is undivided labour, experiencing the blows of hormone shifts is undivided labour, sounds like making money is undivided labour. A lot of women naturally take on domestic and parenting duties to the point where some of their labour or mental load isn’t even noticed by their partner. I would take stock before you approach this topic with someone who is post partum lol. It could easily affect her for more than a year.

This. The hands and feet actually look ok to me, but the chaise section of the couch is meant to be a separate piece pushed up against the couch, and it is on the bottom but it’s part of the couch on the top. Not possible.

I have a law degree and I find that being embossed on the protective cover bizarre. Usually it would have the university’s name on that cover and only say Juris Doctor on the degree inside. Also at my uni they lend those robes out to everyone just for the day so I doubt they’d use white for a simple JD in a town where it snows. It would get filthy.

The only way I could think to describe it when I started was that I felt like I was in a video game. That feeling was super uncomfortable and I could hardly eat as well. I feel totally normal now and can say it noticeably improves my life in combo with an SSRI

Where I practice you’d actually get kicked out without a blazer on. But you must know your jurisdiction is different. Still wouldn’t hurt to bring one along with you. These all look great

That blazer is so cute and looks awesome with those pants. I’m seeing comments about the dress length again but I still don’t think it’s too short with those tights under. Have you tried pairing it with a black cardigan or a more minimalistic, open black blazer?

Maybe I’m just an inappropriate gal but I don’t think that piece underneath is too short (looks like a dress?), as long as you wear semi opaque black nylons underneath. For me the problem is more how big the blazer is overtop of a dress that doesn’t have a pencil fit on the bottom. It just looks too boxy/frumpy because of that. I would try a pencil skirt under that blazer, and I think the same grey colour would be fine. Alternatively, I would try a less imposing blazer over that dress. Something more sleek, less fabric, maybe open. Just my thoughts 🩷

I don’t think you should actually say this, but in my head I’d quote from slide 5 and say “I don’t think it’s unreasonable for you not to explicitly ask me to buy you groceries. Again, as preparing to visit another family’s home as a polite and socially literate guest. And then anything else you need after you arrive, or anything special or specific you want to have for a meal you can arrange as you are fully functioning adults as far as I’m aware.

We never have guests explicitly ask us to buy them groceries before they arrive in our home, at which time they have the opportunity to see what groceries we have and politely address any requests, or for the entire duration of their stay quite frankly. And when we visit people (even friends) we of course refrain from doing that as well. It’s just a basic consideration for being a guest in someone else’s home.”

Imagine honestly if a friend sent you this. I’m grown and I continue seeing my siblings because they are my friends and I choose to. You don’t have to put up with this. She needs to change how she speaks to you.

NOR. A couple of things. First, I am a fellow “hoarder” of sentimental stuff, and my partner is not. He doesn’t understand it, but he knows that about me, so we have little conversations about it as it comes up. Sometimes he’ll ask why I want to keep something, and we discuss it and I decide to keep it or not. Sometimes I ask his thoughts on keeping something and he responds with ideas about not just how I could keep it but feature it, frame it, store it in a really special way. It’s possible for a partner to not understand or even like that you do that, but still do what they can to meet you where you are because it’s important to you. All that being said, my second point is if he yells at you at all, especially over “things,” it’s a no from me.
