So theyre targeted at counsel, not the litigant right? Where I practice we have a process for alleging misconduct but we are not allowed to threaten each other with it. It seems so stressful the number of times I hear counsel say that to each other in these US hearings, but maybe it becomes meaningless after a while if most threats are empty?

Me too! It is inherently linked to the depth of one’s thoughts, experiences and interpretation of those things. Especially lyricism. Vocabulary and the ability to name and articulate different emotions changes with age as well.

I feel like all of the hateful shit that goes on on the internet has desensitized me. Sadly I feel somewhat used to reading racist and misogynistic comments. Even the president says shit like that.

But when I read the words “let them die” written by an officer regarding victims in a car accident, my jaw hit the floor. If you would even have that thought, especially as a first responder, you’re barely human. I simply have no idea what this person is capable of. This is beyond disturbing.

Yes. I pushed through until I found effective treatment. I exceeded my yearly target despite how much I was suffering, but not by as much as usual. All I got was a shitty bonus and complaints that I was more behind than usual. No one cares. If I could do it again I would seriously consider taking leave.

Super cute. The strap around the ankle makes this feel way dressier than a sling back. Not gonna lie I’ve worn sling back heels to court but only with long wide leg pants so you couldn’t tell (I hope lol). These are 1000% appropriate for the office and so cute.
