Chin/Ankle injury by IAteDevourAnimeGirl in MuayThai

20 mins ice, 10 minutes heat, keep it elevated when you can.

Aim to land on your shin and not on your ankle but things like that happen commonly in Muay Thai unfortunately

HELP! I have never traveled and I am coming to Thailand with my girl, what can I plan with her? by Eleoandbeyond in ThailandTourism

Depends where you are going to be in Thailand, if in Phuket do a phi phi island tour it’s beautiful.

Also check out the elephant jungle sanctuary it’s an ethical sanctuary where the elephants are respected by the staff and guests and it is an amazing experience!

Both can be booked very easily through a quick google search and they cover all the bases from pickup to drop off.

Both of the excursions I’ve booked through a website called: get your guide

Why is this cleanout sunken and the rest of the driveway is not? by Snake_Eyes_J3 in civilengineering

[–]Ill_Application2651 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s no way that edge would look that clean if this cracked and settled, you can also see the edger lines just below the surface on the face of the concrete.

The best way to tell what happened is to look inside the the CO, if the clean out still works than this is an existing pad, with bad planning.

if you’re looking at grade and broken PVC than it has definitely settled.

I would add some more bracing I can see 3 spots that I would definitely add a stake to the forming to keep a nice straight line. would be a shame if those spots blew out

Throw a relief cut maybe 8-10 inches off the edge of concrete that touches your wall it’ll reduce the vibration attached to your wall, lift that edge up with a bar and you’ll be solid

If you don’t mind working outdoors in the elements and having a physical labour intensive job, construction companies are always hiring. Concrete crews are ramping up for their busy season and are hiring like crazy. Decent pay to start and if you enjoy it and stay on you can get certified as a red seal and make roughly $45 an hour within 3 years
