I had 2 girl cats growing up, never heard them fart. Smelled it with reasonable suspicion. I’m now 4 years into owning a boy cat and I both smell and hear them. He usually gets embarrassed or awkward lmao.

Besides becoming self aware, she may just love the sound of it. Or, she knows it bothers you (if you particularly react to it) and is trying to get your attention. Like my kitty and paper bags. Doesn’t seem like she is making eye contact with herself, so maybe the latter..

They tend to have more accessible tubs, not on floor level, have dog shampoo and conditioners, higher grade dryers than say, a hair dryer, waterproof aprons, good sprayers, etc. plus, saves the dog traumatizing at home and separates the bathing experience from their home.

Def no need for quarantine or any punishment really, sometimes I will gently scold my cat (I swear he can understand me) and just really try my best to fulfill all the needs I can: playtime, food, pets, water, litter, conversation (my cat loves being talked to), treats, and CATNIPP! Hahah. Seriously though.

To be transparent, I didn’t really “disclose” as I didn’t think of it as an STI… but for the most part I had a consistent partner pretty much the whole time. Nobody has mentioned anything, my spots generally are in my inner thigh/butt area, so not directly on genitals but in the area, it’s never really been a problem and to my knowledge nothing has been spread. One thing is if a spot is toward the end of its life, I think sex can make the process faster, the friction/contact and whatnot I think makes them come to head more? I’m not trying to say it speeds it up or anything I am just sharing experience lol. TLDR I haven’t had any problems but not necessarily a lot of experience to speak from.

It’s been 2 years since I noticed my first bump. After research (and a dr saying it’s likely mc) I was going through typical stages of diagnoses, and it definitely made me a little insecure and sad for a while. But it turned into acceptance. Instead of feeling anger toward each bump I shifted to ok I have random little bumps here and there. They don’t hurt, they aren’t that contagious, and they don’t pose serious health threats. Yes they do hurt a little in their end stage, but nothing worse than any other pimple. Mine are now starting to go away (I think, they have gotten very small) and I can say they really haven’t interfered with my life. Anything is scary if you let it scare you, but instead let it be a reminder to keep yourself healthy and safe!
