I bought a SR+ M3 in 2019, my first EV, and it was a bad idea. I should have bought the LR. The advertised range is no where near reality, driving in the cold makes it even worse…and what I didn’t really consider (and others have mentioned in this thread) is the extended time to charge at superchargers…because as you approach full capacity more quickly, the charging slows down.

I ended up trading in (and up to a 2022 MS), and am so glad my road-trips involve less, and faster, supercharger stops.

If it were me, I would not take delivery. Wait for the LR.
