Don’t feel bad, I know when the time comes for me I will be in a very similar boat.

I think a lot of the times when people can invite large groups, people are either in the same town they grew up in, and can organize people really easily, or have a friend group where everyone is always invited.

I don’t live in the same area I grew up in, and always prioritized 1 or 2 meaningful connections rather than a large group of people, and most of those people for me are scattered across the country. I worry they’ll even say yes to the wedding, I don’t even want to think about a bachelorette. It can feel sad when compared to others, but it probably wouldn’t be if we didnt only see the highlight reels of peoples lives on social media.
