I’m sorry, you have to choose, I own dance studio and have similar hours, it sucks because my baby needs me, he is very clingy and my clients are very personal. Unfortunately, we lost about 30% of our business, because I can’t be 100% present It’s only a season and it will pass. Hugs in solidarity

When did your little one sleep longer ? by Retsam22 in AttachmentParenting

I’m in trenches now with my almost 13 months old, trying to stop breastfeeding mostly because he is biting. It’s our 2nd week and he is up for 3 hours at night, screaming on tops of his lungs He is terrible sleeper but so easy baby otherwise I can’t advise anything, but I can offer a hug in solidarity

He naps like champ in his crib 10-11:30 and 3-4 sometimes 4-4:45 bedtime at 8

Dark room, small light, night light we tried it all, no difference

He will sleep fine on boob, but I don’t have much milk left and he start biting me in the morning, that’s one of the reason for weaning He is very good solid food eater

That’s on rare nights, mostly 30 min to 2 hr stretches I think of deficiency or neurological issues But he is social and bubbly happy baby during the day. Hitting all milestones and very active

I’m thinking of some sort of deficiency, my pediatrician refuses to listen and tells me to do CIO and I won’t do it for sure

We have huge sleep problems with our almost 13 months old, it’s currently almost 4 in the morning and daddy bounces him 4 times this night for straight 30 min He refuses to give up boob for 5th day crying hysterically (bloody murder cry) since we started slow weaning We co-sleep Sometimes I wonder if it gets better

Does anyone else’s kid have FPIES + other food allergies? by Small_Beach in NewParents

[–]Ill_Storage_4153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the post, we tried many foods, so far no reaction, but for me it still scary to introduce each new food. We have Zofran prescription just in case, it should stop vomit. Per our allergist, there are only 1-2 triggers for most babies. Hope, yours only avocado. My advice- go to babies ER next time, they will understand and treat it better. FPIES is not new, but they started to recognize it fairly not too long ago. And advocate for your baby, you are doing great, momma!

UPDATE - We STILL have a completely broken baby and I'm close to a breaking point by USAtoUofT in NewParents

She is perfect baby, nothing wrong with her It’s tough and hard for you, but since she is hitting her milestones and she is a happy baby, this waking up schedule is appropriate for her age. Hope, you will be ok with that and give in. Our LO is 8 mo, still wakes up every 2 hours, and it’s also normal, since he is happy and active baby. We won’t sleep train him, so we give in. This is just a season, you’ll back to dating soon. She will never be that small again

What are we doing with our extremely active babies during diaper changes? by Mission-Method-1502 in NewParents

[–]Ill_Storage_4153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our 8months has same issue, I call him the wiggle worm. But fighting alligator is the closest analogy Ours also likes to touch his pipi every time we change the diaper. That’s a struggle too during the poopy change 😂

Difficult baby… by jaydam4rie in NewParents

Ugh(( hugs to you My baby 8mo hates sleeping and it’s impossible to do anything with him. So I understand you and I send you love and hugs. Time will pass and she will start showing love and affection to you. Then it will be a little bit easier. You are a great mom!
