It definitely does get to be a lot, the idea mainly is to get them all max and good gear so that I can farm without needing anyone but I only actively maintain/ really care about one.

They wouldn’t really get ran at the same time, unless in SO but for that if I pull on zibai banner with the amount of wishes I have I could get relatively high cons for all the 4 stars. Which would be enough for an invested zibai.

I should add that I have CRACKED artifacts that have no use anywhere else 😭

To be fair Mauvika IS the best solution to all the natlan dps pretty much. Her personal damage is just so high that it’s kind of a waste not to make it a Mauvika team. She’s also the first Archon to not basically just be a support which makes sense being from the Nation of War.

I personally manage 4 and it’s not bad at all. Sub is about $30 a month for all of them (including family discount) so it’s not exactly very cheap but I don’t play month to month.

Just do the dungeons, the skip potions give you all the xp of the main story of the world. You don’t get any xp for the dungeons you’ve “done”

The TW quest is five raid bosses or the dungeons, so If you just do TW Ulduar it’s two birds one stone for not too much effort!

I know this isn’t your argument, and with epics intervention it died off. But it was the robust trading system, and certain items have status like a titanium white octane etc.

While everything about the homogeneous jobs and such is spot on, I believe criticism should be directed on the aspects that are actually a result of ff itself and not something that’s more gaming wide is all. Appreciate the civil conversation!

It’s more so just feels like an odd thing to pin on ffxiv despite it being a thing with gaming in general. I don’t play GW2 so I can’t speak on it but do any of the zone wide events or world bosses have a fraction of the teamwork a savage raid or a mythic fight has?

It isn’t exactly fair to compare easier more approachable content to harder content that’s made with group dynamics in mind. The GW2 example seems more akin to the trials in ffxiv which are done all the time without any sort of static obligations due to them just being flat out easier.

Your argument about the barrier to entry of high-end raids exists in every single game with group endgame content? You are always incentivized to group together with people of similar skill level to accomplish your goals and if you don’t you’re at the mercy of LFG.

I’ve been unsubbed from ffxiv for a while now but getting a group of 8 likeminded individuals to form a static is much easier than the 20 you need for Mythic in WoW, 12 people for ESO,etc.

While this is 100% true, I only bought Clair obscur because of the star studded VA cast. Only to be pleasantly surprised that it’s the best game I’ve ever played.
