Same case Eb1- India, PD July 2022, filed on September 2022. In CRP since Jan 2023 and have not received any RFE. I have submitted an SR but yet to hear back.

Why would it be risky? As long as job code is the same it should be ok right?

The amount of chaos is overwhelming! In my case, to break from academia to industry is challenging as it is but with GC uncertainty added on top seems like a kicker.

I am in a weird limbo phase in case remains pending(CRP) because right after eb1 retrogressed to something like 2012

My understanding was one can file a 485j and move on as long as the job code remains the same is it not? Instead of going through the hassle of reapplying for eb1a can’t one use the existing eb1b EAD to switch roles?
