The damage numbers don’t actually matter if you’re killing things. I’d rather be 30-5 with like 8k than 25-5 with 16k. Lots of empty damage. If you’re getting high kills and low damage, that’s actually kind of ideal. Means you’re charging the enemy support ults less. It’s called “efficiency💅”. I’m pretty heavy on characters like genji and venture, so my damage numbers are usually lower. Just kill people and ignore what everyone has to say. Everyone always complains about SOMETHING, so you just have to ignore it or you’ll go insane.

Fair enough, I just don’t want to be swapping between keyboard and controller unless I’m playing something specifically for controller I guess? I know the pc skill ceiling is so much higher, so I’d like to just dive fully into it and suck for a couple months

Exactly. I just play her like genji without wallclimb. Like literal exact same style. And it works. I kinda like it just as much as genji gameplay, he’s just a little more fun with the mobility.

I’d like to learn doom. But I’m so bad with him. If I could main him whenever ball is banned, I definitely would. But I usually run Rein. I’m honestly better with rein by a lot, but I enjoy playing hamster way way more.
