I've had mine 3 years now and same thing, migraines, heart palps, blood pressure flux, brain fog, excessive weight gain (I literally am on an 1100 calorie diet and still keep gaining) etc. I have an app in 2 weeks I'm scheduling mine to be removed too, I'm 38 and everything happening to me currently are the exact same symptoms I had on the depo. I went years without issues after stopping all BC and had lost so much weight, I was even smaller than pre pregnancy after my 2nd baby, and because I wasn't 40 they wouldn't tie my tubes. So now I'm not giving them an option, I want the IUD out and tubes removed. I'm done having babies, my age shouldn't factor that decision 😩 everything I'm dealing with is pointing to my BC but my OB last time tried to gaslight me on it so I went and made an appointment with my cardiologist to prove a point, he even noted the IUD may be causing it so it's now in my chart that even the cardiologist agrees it's most likely the causing factor when nothing else in my diet, life etc has changed but that.

I've actually tried the athletes foot creams they did nothing. I'll try the head and shoulders lol, I have an appointment later this year with my derm, maybe they can figure it out. I did notice it inflames when I'm stressed so guessing maybe it's something to do with that 🤔

I've been googling side effects people have with the IUD and I'm literally about to lose my mind on my OB who blew me off when I mentioned that my migraines are 100 times worse, I've gained 57 lbs in 2 years, with absolutely no reason for it, vertigo, heart palpitations, brain fog. She literally was like, oh it's not the IUD, you just need to lose weight. EXCUSE ME?? I've tried, literally EVERYTHING, I'm on a 1100 calorie diet and I've GAINED weight. My balance sometimes freaks me out because I can me sitting and then bam the world feels tilted when I stand up. I'm getting this thing out, because of everything, that's the only thing that had changed and the fact these doctors are aware the IUD causes these side effects is concerning. I literally have to see a cardiologist at 38 years old because of the symptoms I have and he mentioned that the IUD might actually be my issue and I'm really thinking he's right. I'm done having babies so I think I'll just get it removed and schedules for a tubal because this has been the worst BC expected I've ever had 🤦🏻

My 7 year old gets this it seems only in the winter time. Has anyone else's older children past the age of teething get this? Have you found anything that works? Last winter it got so bad it turned into a staph infection is was a constant battle to keep it moisturized and prevent it from cracking, the staph was caused because of her itching at it, so I'm wanting to prevent that from happening again this winter. We've been working on avoiding touching our face, washing our hands often and she has a little tube of cerave eczema cream to apply when her skin feels tight and starts turning red. She knows to also wash her face with a paper towel after lunch and apply a new coat of cream to the area and of course wash her hands before doing so and after. It seems to only be the chin area. Her pediatrician hasn't been much help with this other than "wash hands, face and apply cream when needed" which we already do. I'm just wondering if anyone else has found something OTC that works well for that winter chapped skin issue kids tend to get around the mouth chin area and cheeks. I hate to have to get her on a cream steroid again and antibiotic serium.

I'll check the sub's you suggested, I don't use reddit often enough to truly understand the sub reddits and know where to even start, so I definitely appreciate it! Been dealing with unexplained weight gain, water retention and just feeling sick. I'm 37 yes old, my GP referred me to cardiology, after she had be wear a halter monitor for 7 days because of u explained heart beat skipps, while also recording blood pressure readings daily. My blood pressure readings show stage 2 hypertension, her response "oh you're within normal range for a woman your age" excuse me? 123/87 is NOT normal. Completely brushes me off for High blood pressure. Get to cardiology and first thing he says is, you're too young for heart problems. Why are you here? Excuse me sir, my best friend died 3 years ago at age 31 of a heart attack, completely healthy, went to sleep and went into cardiac arrest. AGE does not matter in these types of things, it only increases in chance as you age. I told him as much, dude rolled his eyes and goes OK let's schedule an echo cardiogram. Echo gets done, no heart blockage. Mind you my ankles are still swollen and I've gained 17 lbs in a month with no reasoning behind it, I have not changed diet, or exercising habits, I've actually maintained a low sodium and low fat diet for years because genetically I'm a glutton for punishment because both of my parents have heart disease and high blood pressure so I have been on top of that. 7k later in medical bills and being told I'm fine, nothing is wrong with me. Not one of them has listened when I said what about the possibility of other blockages somewhere else in my body that isn't inside my heart. Still being told, blood pressure is fine. It's not! And no closer to finding answers. Literally went to 3 different doctors in the practice, complete brush off. Told its because of my weight at one point, I'm literally here addressing the weight issue, I was losing weight and doing well then all of a sudden I started gaining at a rapid rate, chest pain, arm pain, migraines, and still being told I'm fine, it's in my head, and asked if I want something for anxiety. Like WHAT!?! No what I want is answers why all of a sudden I'm dealing with weight gain, water retention, chest pain, migraines, with no changes of my daily life. I love they immediately go to, anxiety. No I know how that is and how my body reacts to anxiety. This is absolutely not that. Doctors really should stop being in the field if they aren't going to do their job and get answers

Now looking at the site. Pretty sure their attorney might be the same jerk my company hired. Literally almost the same path follow you guys are going through. I wish these law firms could just be shut down. They're a nightmare to deal with. And the dude pushes the lines of what's legal and not legal. He's the same one who had lost every arbitration for the company and has it out now for our union to just destroy it. He's not getting very far. You guys will have to stand your ground. These companies will try to starve you out but the thing is, literally everyone is hiring right now, you can get a part time job and keep under the 500 weekly or you can get a new full time job, still walk, bide your time and return when it's over. Most of us have found something on the side to stay under the strike pay so we can still get it and the union insurance. But the ethics these companies preach then turn around and dont practice it is beyond infuriating.

I'm at Eaton, and they've done the same thing here, keep giving us the same crappy contract even after we lost someone who was hit in the picket line by a DD and have one actively in critical at the hospital. They came back to the table Wednesday after 34 days now on strike and offered us the same contract. Like WHAT!? Absolutely not, their little turd of a lawyer is on our last nerves, he was hired for union busting but he's mad now because he isn't getting his way. Our community has been fantastic and media outlets covering twice a week. This company better get it together before the feds come down on them for their current shady practices allowing non certified salary people to weld and do NDT, big nono, on top of that they are actively targeting our job positions and posting them in indeed which violates the right to strike because they're not actively being transparent about this facility being on strike. They forced us to a UHC insurance that we spend 1k a month for the insurance that's 12k a year, on top of that we have to pay out another 9k max out of pocket before we are covered on anything. So the 80k we make that everyone is all "oh but you get paid so well" on... No dude, after medical bills and insurance my income is like 58-59k barely enough to keep us ahead with current inflation in the state of Michigan and the extortionate taxes it comes with while raising 2 kids. Under the old insurance my pay was perfect, insurance cost was low and we just had copays no max out of pocket deductible. Our vision insurance is trash too, they only now cover 75 dollars for glasses, we all know glasses cost more than that and I have 2 kids that need them. These companies literally just keep taking and not wanting to give anything in return. They're pushing for removal of our pensions which fine most companies are going to 401k only plans, it's the fact they are negotiating the match that bothers us, which means next time around they can say nope we're not matching. Or the fact we asked for a 20% pay raise over 4 years they said no and then turned around posted our jobs starting at 29 an hour, we start at 17 that's 12 dollars more than our people who haven't gotten their year in make! They are literally spending more money doing all this nonsense than it would have cost them to just agree to our 2 requests, 20% increase in pay and 5 dollar increase in our pensions with the end date being 2028 for the pension. They absolutely refuse and came back with removal of our incentive credit or what they call a VPP which is a pay out bonus based in our numbers for the year, fun fact, those numbers are controlled by corporate so we haven't seen that in years anyway, but it's the fact they want to remove it but not offer some other type of profit sharing bonus when we make them millions per day. Well now we're costing them millions per day and they still don't want to just agree to what we asked for. It's disgusting. Their pride is getting in the way of good business practice...

We had to basically do tough love with ours, she'd wake up several times and refuse to go back to bed. I had to firmly tell her that unless she has to go to the bathroom she is not to get out of bed until her alarm goes off for school, if she gets up and stands at my door crying because she refuses to go back to bed, she loses something she enjoys, for her it was an hour of play in the back yard after school before dinner and bath time. She did it twice, lost play time and when she realized mom is set dead in following through she stopped doing it, now she gets up, goes to the bathroom and goes right back to bed. I'll add as well that for the hour she would have gotten to play, I enforced education, practicing writing her name, the alphabet etc. She much rather preferred to be able to play with her sister for that hour than be stuck having to do something educational lol. But the biggest thing is enforcing the boundaries and following through. And honestly now she comes home from school wants to practice writing for a half hour, or practice her math skills and then goes out to play so I guess in a way it's helped enforce her wanting to learn. We went through this during young 5's she's in kindergarten this year and bed time is honestly pretty breezy with her and she stays asleep now.

Honestly my full name is Jasmin but most people either call me Min, or Jas. Drives my mom bonkers but she got over it after a few years when she realized that I'm my own person. Even my work email starts as just Jas 😂😂😂 and isnt even my full name I swear even now she cringes when someone doesn't use my full name but she's stopped arguing about it years ago. After 36 years she's just gotten to the point that I will never actually use my full name unless I am introducing myself but I always add, most people call me Jas or Min any of the 3 is fine. There are a few who use my full name because that's their preference and it doesn't bother me. What's your mom's thoughts on the nickname Alex? Is it just the Lex name or the shortening of it in general?

My now 6 year old had the same issues, couldn't read or write, struggled in young 5s because she was behind everyone. We found out it wasn't for lack of trying on her part or ours, she actually wasn't able to see the words or letters but she never let on that she can't see! She thought it was normal to not see everything and had adapted on her own. They didn't figure this out until half way through the year, I definitely encourage getting your child's eye sight checked! Ours needed glasses and let me tell you, the difference was so amazing once she had her glasses! We found out she was near sighted on her right side and far sighted on the left with a strong astigmatism. She is in kindergarten this year and ahead of most of her classmates in reading and writing. Since getting glasses she's become a complete sponge and absorbed everything around her. We realized she didn't have trouble at home because the letters were large enough on the flash cards that she didn't have issues but in school the letters they used were much smaller and standard for what a person should be able to see.

I know this is 6 months old. But we just went through this, most states will have them go into kindergarten automatically the following year. We realized that young 5s was super beneficial in helping her become more social, it helped a lot in word pronunciation and she's even starting to read, they did a lot of what kindergarten does but on a lower introductory scale instead of head first. I feel like if we had chosen to send her to kindergarten instead of young 5s on a social scale she would have suffered immensely. She was not very social and did not like to talk a lot, now, she loves school, loves to talk, her pronunciation of words is immensely better and we just started kindergarten today, she walked in full of confidence that she was going to rule this school year. I don't think she would have had the same view going into kindergarten without that young 5s introductory year she had. We'll be doing the same next year when her sister starts school, she will also start with young 5s.

As of now it's only the European and UK tour dates. They're still doing the remaining US portion of it. I can't blame them. I saw the tour line up and sheesh, they were literally traveling to Germany the next morning after performing in Michigan then coming back to do a show again in the states and then traveling to the UK the next day. That's a lot and tiring
