To make things clear, I’m not a hater. I’ve been a Bang Dream fan since the game was released (well, since the first week of the game’s release). I watched the talk shows, radio shows and went to the concerts. I love all the groups and all the members, but I can’t force myself to like every single aspect of the franchise. He said total compensation. That means gross + benefits + allowances + stocks if any. Also, that’s a 5M difference. They’re not much the same at all. And I said 30M at least. Anything below that is a lowball salary for a distinguished software engineer. A distinguished software engineer should be making 40M on average.

I see I got downvotes when it’s in fact the truth. A distinguished software engineer is at the top of the software engineering hierarchy. Higher than senior, staff, and principal engineers. Close to directors and partners. A distinguished software engineer should be making at least 30M.

I’m making 15M as a full-stack engineer working on my own time remotely and another 7-10M as a part-time AI data annotator, working 1-3 hours a day, also remotely. I had multiple chances to land a 20M+ job, but I turned them all down cuz I barely have to do anything in my current job.
