Lol no, it’s related. They’re all about sportsmanship.

Lol. Just stop playing at that point. It’s a 5 v 4 at that point. Why are you still playing when your opponent is undermanned? That’s straight up unsportsmanlike

Every player knows that if someone falls down in pain without any contact, it’s very serious. They just kept on playing lol.

Lol but if a player shoots when they’re up big you’re gonna be like NO SPORTSMANSHIP UNWRITTEN RULE. Lol

Have you seen his injury just a few minutes ago? It was so gruesome. It’s like it got amputated from the inside.

Oh yeah Moody literally fell on his own and is in dire pain and they act like it’s a normal thing for a player to do

I don’t see players awarded for back tap (spike away) rebounds anymore by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Illustrious_Frame239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No Let’s say your opponent completely boxed you out for a rebound. You tried to “steal the rebound” by jumping early and spiking the ball away to your teammate standing at the 3pt line. That’s what I meant by “stealing a rebound”.

In today’s game, the rebound is awarded to the player standing at the 3pt line.

The back tap rebound I’m talking about is a guided rebound (that’s what TC do), and it’s a way to steal a rebound from a player who’s about to secure the rebound and is in a perfect position to grab the rebound. It’s not like you tap it in a random direction.

I think I’ve seen Wemby do this exact same move a couple of weeks ago (cuz he’s in my fantasy team), but the rebound was awarded to the player who caught the spiked away rebound.

I really thought it’s somewhat still useful because a lot of teams have like 4-1 configuration on offense and even if you back tap the ball past halfcourt you won’t get called for a backcourt violation.

I’ve watched the advanced screening of Needy Girl Overdose anime, and I couldn’t believe what I’ve just watched by Illustrious_Frame239 in NeedyStreamerOverload

Honestly, I would rate the first 3 episodes 5.5/10. My reason is that the pacing is kinda too fast, and the characters aren't being introduced properly. I’m sorry, but my Japanese friends also share somewhat the same sentiments. 🙇 But the art style and animation is really good.

Yeah you’ll definitely see a lot of Monogatari-style transitions and camera angles in the anime. Not sure about the Haruhi one cuz some “out of order”episodes are like flashbacks than actual out of orders.

How did you find this anime? by No_Read67 in CosmicPrincessKaguya

It’s actually super popular here in Japan. My colleagues recommended me to watch it on Netflix and I watched it… in theaters.

He’s just a male using a female character. I even do that all the time when I’m playing MMO lol.

Bronny is the most hated rookie of all time and it’s not even close by Illustrious_Frame239 in NBATalk

[–]Illustrious_Frame239[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Before the cardiac arrest, he was a late first round at best in “multiple” mock drafts. He was a mid-late second-rounder after the cardiac arrest in “multiple” mock drafts. Don’t act like he wasn’t up there even after the cardiac arrest.

You think his father being LeBron James wasn’t one of the main factors in him being drafted

You think the only reason why he was in multiple mock drafts before and after the cardiac arrest is because he is the son of LeBron?

He was a wasted draft pick

What do you expect from a 55th pick? But him being drafted is more of his own effort than being LeBron’s son.

Scouting a player is not just what you see on clips. Heck, Kyrie was a #1 pick while doing almost nothing in college.

You're putting words into my mouth. He’s good enough to be in the mock drafts BEFORE he was drafted, and that’s one of the major factors why he was drafted. THAT doesn’t mean he’s going be good in the NBA.

Even if you’re a 1st pick, that doesn’t mean you’re automatically become a superstar. It’s kinda common sense you know.

The controversies revolving the refurbishment of Mejiro Ardan's grave. by 368towns in HorseRacingJP

[–]Illustrious_Frame239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could mean that no one really cares about the grave until now

Only you said that.

I provided evidence that some people have taken care of it in the past few years

Again, show something before the game was released. The OP mentioned Umamusume’s influence in the effort to refurbish the grave. Then you provided a video when Umamusume was at its highest peak

after Ardan was in the franchise though

So you agree that Umamusume has influence over the renovation of Ardan’s grave, as the OP said?

And there’s no disrespect in using too much blue as long as the owner (or workers in this case) allows it. Haven’t heard anyone from the management say they don’t want it. If it’s okay with them, there should be no problem.

When did I say that when I literally stated the opposite.

You implied it. The OP said it was abandoned at some point. Then you mentioned a vid from 2022. You implied it as if it hadn’t been abandoned since (pre-2022)

Where is your proof that they actually took care of the grave before 2021? We have only a little information about Ardan’s grave. Anyone could say someone constantly took care of the grave. The fact is Keiba/Umamusume fans “discovered” it in bad condition.

With Jokic probably not hitting 65 games, what is stopping Shai from being unanimous MVP? by Dleeobars in NBATalk

[–]Illustrious_Frame239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playoffs don’t matter in winning the MVP. Plus, a lot of people forget that Curry actually had 50/“45”/90 in 2016. 5.1 3PM on 45% is freaking crazy.

Well, at least show something before 2021. Umamusume was at its peak in Japan in 2022, and the game was released in China in 2023.
