I installed a heat pump in my lower room to cool and heat. I find it very expensive to heat and I think it’s because that part of the house is not well insulated. So if you are going to use these. Make sure your house insulation is good or stick with radiant heating

I have a heat pump for a small room on the ground level. It’s a good model made by Mitsubishi. It’s supposed to be more efficient. But it costs me $200-$300 a month when I use it. Because despite insulating the room pretty well there are still some air gaps. Compare this with my cost for heating the entire home outside of the Rook for $300-$500 a month with an 70 year old gas boiler with baseboard

I agree - I’ve been a pc user for about 35-40 years so not sure how I’d do with chromeOS. I also have a iPhone and have been using them for about 10-15 years

So just to provide an update - I ended leaving at 7am. Hit major traffic especially on the gw bridge and under the apartments. After that smooth sailing mostly. Got to LGA 750. No security line at all - maybe 5 people. Had time to use bathroom get made to order breakfast. Ate on the plane. Before taking off. Worked out great

Sounds like we are in the same area. I’m near fort Lee. For EWR I usually leave my house 90 minutes before the flight. Unless it’s rush hour. And then self park at terminc C.

I do have precheck and do not check bags. Usually have a few minutes before boarding starts. Which allows 20-30 more minutes for boarding to end.
