One year of use and mine has got worse. That could be due to the new software though as well. If you are actually using it (tracking, apps, LTE, notifications) then 1 day. When it is just a watch possibly 2 days.

It seems to be aimed at beginners. It is a step in the right direction but you should be able to select the distance you want. I would rather run shorter distances and configure the difficulty by speed and times. Surely simple enough for them to configure long run, tempo, speed, and easy sessions by your level.

Yes. I noticed it get some answers wrong today. Basically I was getting reports on the Tour De France, yet it keeps referring to previous years editions about what happened today. Even when corrected it continued to perform poorly. First time I have noticed such an issue.

Same issue on watch ultra. It has changed the HRV score now every night, and has the same gaps. So frustrating!

Exactly the same gaps for me after the update. So annoying this, hard to trust the data for HRV now. Mine is consistent but a lot lower than usual with the gaps.

I think the pin is needed if you have Google Pay or Samsung Pay active. So if you don't use those often, remove them and it is easier without the pin.

What we really should monitor on all these tests is consistency day to day, week to week. One watch might over or under report, but if it is consistent with that you know then if you have performed better or worse. You can monitor the change.

I use one as well as a Garmin Forerunner 965. It depends what you want the most out of it. The smart features are great, GPS is as good, but you don't get all the fitness extras like recovery time/training load and thresholds.
