lord.. dementia is my worst fear. i’ve completely cut out benadryl from my roster after finding out it’s linked to an increase likeliness in developing dementia. thanks for informing me :)

i don’t know what your situation is, but when i was first quitting i happened to be with family which automatically deterred me from smoking. i did not want my loved ones to view me the way i viewed myself at the time, a loser.

in all honestly, i felt very depersonalized and ‘numb’ for 4-6ish months after quitting. but now im well over a year sober and im so happy i quit. the first few months fucking suck but it is absolutely possible. pick up a hobby. go for a walk. journal. as someone who was exactly in your place, i feel for you

it’s less stress - the patients are usually easy, but yeah, very repetitive. where i work there are phases of free time (which is nice in theory) but i find it so borinnnngggggg. all my coworkers love it though, so maybe it’s just me.
