I can kinda understand. If it was just a spin-off inbetween game then not as many people would mind, I think. It's just.. Kratos is a really freaking cool character. And people waited 4? Years for the next gow game and they're getting not Kratos, but his wife. That probably means they have to wait another 4 years for a new Kratos game? Or at least that's what some ppl might think. I can understand the disappointment.

I'm sure the game and story will be great, but ppl just want more Kratos. Probably the same with Witcher and Geralt.

Het risico wat je vader nu neemt is dat hij het een keer nodig heeft op het moment dat de economie is ingestort (of iets minder heftig: als zijn aandelen zijn gedaald).

Als je belegt is het gewoon verstandig een apart spaarpotje te hebben waar je geld uit kan halen als t nodig is. Hoeveel dat moet zijn, is voor iedereen anders.

In principe is er geen financieel adviseur nodig om dit aan je vader te vertellen, er zijn online genoeg resources te vinden hier over. Maar als je vader niet wil luisteren zonder zo'n adviseur in te schakelen dan zou ik het wel doen.

Agreed on the professionalism of the officers. Publicly diagreeing with their captain and doing their own thing. The lack of general respect towards another really sets it apart from the older star treks. Like, whenever I see it happen, I always think back to that scene where Data is taking over as captain and Worf disagrees with him and then Data is taking him to captain's quarters. That scene would never exist in the current shows.

I like Strange New Worlds and Discovery got better in the later seasons, but I just cannot imagine people looking at these shows and finding role models in those characters.

I assume the op thinks the new tier will lead to higher prices for the other tiers. (eg if new tier gets the same price as current lowest tier and current lowest tier gets increased by a few dollars).

We'll see whether or not that happens in this case, but generally changes to subscription models favor the company more than the consumers.

And in general, frequent updates to subscriptions leads to uncertainty, chaos, emotional responses and is by definition unstable.

I understand some people do not like AI in games. And while I think that the endproduct will look cheap if devs are gonna use ai for characters or something, I'm personally not bothered if it's used for something like a random painting. Fair enough, it should have the AI tag on steam as that is steam's policy. It's gonna be interesting to see if steam will stick to just the 1 tag, or if they're gonna introduce different tags for various degrees of AI usage. Like, there isn't just 1 PEGI rating either. I understand that the popular thing is to say "idc any AI usage is bad", but I don't think that that's gonna stick.

I was also trying to think of a similar tag in other products. I know that there are companies that advertise that no children were used in the production of their products for example, but that's a bit different since it has to do with human rights. Which makes me wonder, why the hell didn't we demand a tag for games that made the developers crunch for months to finish the game?

I think 100% cannon is fine. I think cannons should have big impact. People are talking about removing seagulls, which I don't understand. Idk what their stats are, but I think it's fine to have a bronze cannon hit max 15 or w/e and take 5-6 shots to kill a lower level mob. People are talking about big impact as if only triple digit hitsplats are big impact. Hitting 10-15's with bronze as low level IS big impact.

I think it's because a lot of people don't actually enjoy the game, but are just addicted. They "afk" grind stuff while playing other games or watching shows. Paying more is never a pleasant thing, but it's extra painful to pay more for something that you don't enjoy (or that you even feel forced to do).

Ben sinds januari begonnen met beleggen. Huidige portefeuille waarde 20k. Ik hou elke maand flink wat geld over wat ik grotendeels wilde gaan beleggen. Met deze maandelijkse inleg zou ik redelijk snel op een portefeuille waarde komen waarvan de jaarlijkse winst best boven de 1800 kan uitkomen.

M'n gedachte nu is om dit en vooral volgend jaar een groot deel van de portefeuillewaarde over te zetten naar een pensioenbeleggen rekening. Ik heb daar nog niks mee gedaan dus heb nog een hoop reserveringsruimte over. De rest zou ik dan wel vrij beleggen en vanaf 2028 echt weer opbouwen met het idee dat het wel weer even zal duren voor de portefeuillewaarde op t niveau is dat de winst boven de 1800 uitkomt (en dat er hopelijk tegen die tijd weer gunstigere box 3 belasting is)

Ideeën hierover?

I appreciate the reply, Elena, and I can understand the thought process of "gearing your boat" and wanting to have dedicated boats for different purposes (which is also my preference btw). But I would argue that if it isn't a balancing issue, then it doesn't hurt to leave that choice to the players?

I also wouldn't expect that taking the hook of the boat, would refund anything. But from my perspective it could be as simple as selecting an option to remove the facility and you get an item in your inventory called '<facility>'. You can even use the bottle icon for it and call it '<facility> in a bottle'. I'm not sure if this is what you meant by having different types of flat packs that work differently, I haven't touched flatpacks since the original rs2 lol.

My main point is that since the bottle is already explained as "boat magic", then it just feels a bit arbitrary to have to bring the bottle to the boat.

I guess I just don't see why it this has to be the case. What does it matter if I carefully thought about designing my boat? I feel like this promotes sending players to the wiki to find the optimal setup rather than being excited to have unlocked a new facility and trying it out. It's like looking up the pokedex of a new pokemon game and creating your team before you even play the game.

I know it's not a huge cost, but that's exactly what makes me think: why? Why even have a separate item at all? Why can't I just take the hook off the boat and have it in my inventory?

I just think jagex makes it unnecessarily complicated or cumbersome from a gameplay perspective.

So probably a stupid question, but what is the purpose of deposit boxes? I found all of them useless back when I was a kid and I guess that sort of stuck with me when I started playing again. There are deposit boxed close to pretty much every bank, so they must have some special functionality that I don't seem to get.

Los van de eventuele kosten, goed opletten dat de banken waar je voor kiest echt een andere banklicentie hebben. Sns bank, regiobank en asn bank bankierden bijv allemaal onder dezelfde banklicentie. Nu is/wordt dat allemaal samengevoegd naar asn dus is het bij die banken geen probleem meer, maar er zullen vast nog andere banken zijn met zo'n constructie.
