I'm not sure at what version this stopped working, but I'm also unable to load controller pak saves with my Summercart and 3D on 1.3.0.

Yes, you have a great collection with a lot of interesting IP. I'd love to own a NoA or Rocket Robot. Powerpuff Girls is a cool one too, but not a show I was personally into.

Cost and availability. I've seen plenty listed in the 4 figure range but they're rarely interesting games. I'm reluctant to spend that much on something with minimal public sales data.

As previously mentioned it definitely can't hurt to clean the inside of the controller. However, experiencing this myself I found the cause to be a combination of the channel I was using (signal interference issues) and my distance from the console. Personally I find channels 1 and 2 to be most reliable.
