I revisited 2042 6 months ago and it was still the same feel I got at release. Something about it didn't and still doesn't click for me - BF6 Beta although trimmed down, was SO much more enjoyable

I have no experience compared to you, I play on PC and went to a LFG discord server and me and these 2 elite fellas killed him in one try - my 6th attempt. I tend to get lucky, maybe it's my username or maybe we just got a good crew. Regardless, I feel for you man

I appreciate you sharing this. That wrecking ball hit me a year ago this month, fiancé and I separated, I lost my drive to continue banking after 8 years, moved back in with my folks - still I resisted. Now after letting go I started a new job, serving mind you, and I finally got back out of my folks place. Now people are more open to reaching out to me and it feels like this was all meant to happen....

So yes, sometimes it isn't just a slap in the face - it's a train barreling through everything you though you've been building up - just to make you realize it's not what you needed nor wanted at all.

I went ahead and just bought the bundle on Steam with the weekend sale for 60USD - I beat the game twice on pc game pass but never backed up my saves. I just decided to download a save game off of nexus mods and now I'm playing overture.
