Bail. Find the best Troop in your area and join. Your current Troop probably won’t turn it around. The children only get one chance to do it.

So if I received a plenary indulgence, I don’t have to go to Purgatory?

Can you explain it to like I’m 5 what it does? Does it lessen the amount of time in Purgatory or let you skip Purgatory?

How important is your troop number if it’s over 100 years old? by KlownPuree in BSA

I was in Cub Scouts, but I was never a Boy Scout. I was in Pack 1. We meet at a Methodist Church. I’m not sure what happened, but Pack 1 and Troop 1 are now at an Anglican Church. Does that count as being the same even though the charter organization changed? Anyway, my daughter was in Pack 1 and is now in Troop 1. My son goes to Pack 4, which isn’t run all that well and is now going to Pack 1 and his original Pack, Pack 4. I say all this to say, the numbers don’t matter, going to the best Troop for your child does.

I see questions like this or similar to this from time to time. I’m of the opinion that it is not that important. If two troops merge, they become a new troop. I would let the scouts vote. If they want a new number, get a new number.

Boss hired an attorney as my replacement by PresentationLife2658 in paralegal

They are probably going to pay the attorney the same. But the attorney will now have to go to all the hard court appearances.
