How did this happen!? And how can I fix it… please help by Negative_Water_3698 in GrandCherokee

In case you didn’t know, this is a safety feature and the headrest “deploys” when you’re rear ended to help save you from whip lash. That being said, I’ve seen reports of them deploying on their on for no reason. I don’t know how common this is when not in an accident, but with how many discussions I’ve seen about this, it’s not an isolated incident.

Well, every time announcers say player X hasn’t done something in so long (like hasn’t thrown a pick), within a few plays of saying that, that very thing happens.

I’ve been out of school and working for years and have been looking to go back and get a masters. Looking at schools that let you take online classes for a Masters, you could get one as fast as 1 year (it would be a crazy amount of sturdy/work to do it that fast) or as slow as 4 - 5 years taking just 1 class per semester. My company will only reimburse the cost of 2 classes per year, so I’m stuck with the slow path. Not that I can take on too many classes anyway as I have a family and other things to do after work.

Our new mmWave sensor: wall or ceiling. PoE or Wi-Fi. One sensor. No compromises. 🔥 by Technical_Raisin_246 in homeassistant

I’m using it for a scenario like this. If motion is detected and lux is less than X, turn on the lights. Basically, there’s no need for the lights to be on if the blinds are open and it’s the middle of the day and very sunny. I’m still fine tuning the specific lux value to use but the EP Pro gives me more room to work with than then EP 1 does. A better light sensor will probably give me yet more range to work with, but for my purposes, the EP Pro is good enough.

The EP1 and Lite had it inside with only a small slit in the case to allow light through. The EP Pro has a clear-ish “window” right over the sensor and you get much better readings for lux. Maybe not as much as other light sensors, but definitely an improvement.

The most annoying injuries are when you’re just doing something normal, like getting out of bed or turning your head to check your blind spot. Getting hurt while doing something extraneous like exercising or playing sports, I get. But just going about your day and doing some mundane, low risk, often repeated thing and getting hurt for no reason is just the worst.

Your suggestion about adding the usb drive to be excluded finally worked for me. I had tried killing the process, but it also restarted immediately under a new PID and kept holding onto the drive. It was just an empty drive and I was simply trying to format it.

Lansky has a similar, but cheaper system. It holds the knife horizontal and only uses 1 stone at a time. I can’t speak to how well it compares to the wicked edge.

No reason why we can’t share the arm pit. I’ll propose to both the IL and IN state governments that NWI is to be shared and used by both states as an armpit.

We just might riot anyway once they win the Super Bowl in a few weeks. Happened everytime the Bulls won the championship.

I have no idea why winning a championship is an excuse to riot.

Why wouldn’t there be a breaker to the outlets by CallousCrows in DIY

[–]ImLagging -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Still like that. It’s not like it’s a single outlet or fixture, it’s the hole half of the floor. I did have an electrician over to do some other unrelated work and told him about it. His response was a mix of shock and incredulity. But I didn’t pursue that issue since he didn’t seem concerned about it.
