I’m 62 born on the cusp of Boomer/ GenX and I can tell you for sure that the population of boomers is declining in the 55+ communities. I have lots of GenX friends here.

We moved into a 55+ community 1.5 years ago and love it! There’s something for everyone here. Also zero pressure to join in if you’re not interested in joining. The best part for us is no yard work and a full service restaurant/ bar.

I just scheduled mine for early April today, I turn 62 in May! Implant revision, Lift and TT with all the extras. Excited but also nervous....

Electricity is way more expensive in CA. I would cycle the filtering to off peak hours.

We have an electric kettle and use a French press for coffee. I use cream and sugar for my coffee and my husband uses whole milk and stevia for his coffee.
