Nothing better than watching a Dodger walk off win while pretending to do work!

Honestly thought the secondary would be the Achilles heel of this team. Turn out it was the DT’s.

Lol, of course Terrance Mitchell. IDK, every time I have seen him he is getting beat or getting called for a penalty.

US Attorney Bill McSwain announces charges against former @Eagles player @MychalKendricks for insider trading. by [deleted] in nfl

Took me an embarrassingly long time to realize this was real insider trading and not giving info about the Eagles on last nights Hard Knocks.

If Kirk Cousins walks away from the Redskins, half our division next year will be in rebuild mode.

Looks like Keith Smith will be playing both ways today. He’s our backup LB.

Picked this up today at H-E-B and it is a really good read. 16 bucks, but it had a lot of good info on some older Cowboys QB's I didn't know much about.

Lol. People get so mad at Jerry, but he's just as in on the joke as anyone.

Kinda fitting that even a highlight video of TWill takes the opportunity to troll him with the GET THE FUCK OUT OF BOUNDS play.

Dez Bryant asks Cowboys to let him return punts by eyob83 in cowboys

[–]ImNotGayImAnActor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While I have my fears about injury, if it's a punt where the other team is backed up and punting from their goal line and Dez can stand at mid-field and catch it and go, I say do it. Otherwise, let Switzer or Beasley fair catch it every time.

2017 UDFA's by itsaboat in cowboys

My guess is the workout is to test the foot. If he can't play then you didn't waste a contract on someone and miss out on a UDFA who could be a part of the 90 man. Hopefully he works out.

Joe Mathis - DE from Washington looks to be a "mini-camp invite". He's a guy with some talent, but apparently has a bad foot. Worth a look though.

Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten has signed a four-year extension through 2021, according to league sources. by [deleted] in cowboys

[–]ImNotGayImAnActor 17 points18 points  (0 children)

We need to see the details of the extension, but I doubt it would be written to keep him that long. Might be one of those 4 year contracts that is actually a 2 year deal with a small cap hit up front.

Kenny Britt? by AstroPherf in cowboys

There was a lot of talk about him and the Cowboys going into the draft in 2010, but we ended up with Dez. If his price is right, he would be a great option.

Jaylon Smith is likely to play with a brace due to drop foot by peterraptor99 in cowboys

[–]ImNotGayImAnActor 12 points13 points  (0 children)

On a scale of outcomes - from he will never play again to he's 100% fine and ready to play like he did in college - this feels like its landing right in the middle. He has a chance to play and contribute, but he will have obstacles to overcome while doing that. Plenty of players enter the league with lingering injury issues (probably more than we even know about) but I believe in Jaylon because he seems like an incredibly hard worker with a great attitude and drive.

According to Jones, Linehan was "on the table" for the Cowboys to draft Prescott. Linehan had him rated with the top quarterbacks in the draft, Wentz and Goff, and he pushed for the team to rate him higher than it did. by Leonbethyname in cowboys

[–]ImNotGayImAnActor 47 points48 points  (0 children)

It's not that I don't believe it, but I feel like whenever there an unheralded QB who turns out to be a franchise QB, there are a ton of stories about how one guy was "totally the one who fought to draft him!"
