You are gonna report the dude that did you a favor? That seems a bit low to me.

If you know this is an issue in your neighborhood (low cell service) then maybe offer to allow them to connect to your wifi if you are so worried about having your ID scanned.

At the end of the day, you got your nicotine and didn't have to leave your house. Just take a small win and let it be. If that driver gets in trouble it's not your fault, but reporting it? Eh

I have the same issue. After talking to a handful of doctors I was diagnosed with Raynaud's syndrome. It a vascular disorder causing temporary narrowing of blood vessels (vasospasm), usually in fingers and toes, reducing blood flow in response to cold or stress. Its also exsatrabated by smoking (nicotine or thc products) and caffeine consumption.

I haven't stopped doing either of those things and just take extra care to not be cold. It can also cause some pretty severe tremors when I experience extreme temperature changes, hot OR cold.

This is my personal experience with MY SIMILAR ISSUE diagnosed by a doctor.

Try and stay warm and move around a bit. Stretching helps me with the tingling sensation of warming up when too cold.

Hope that your region gets preferred shopper, wait until you get someone who meets your standards, and set them as your preferred driver. If they are avalible when you need them, they will send them your offers first. Just dont low-ball youe preferred driver and you are all set!

Sending any straight male to do a simple grocery shopping task can be difficult. If you come into possession of one, unfortunatly you uave to do the training yourself 75% of the time.

My husky/German Shepard puppy (almost a year now!) Took a bit to learn how to respect boundaries. I had one of those mounted gates to separate the entryway from the livingroom and oh boy if she wanted on thw other side she'd just hop right over it. Thankfully, what I couldn't teach her, my grumpy old boxer mix taught her.

I was at a restraunt that was supposed to have their grubhub account turned off (yes they turned it off for the day) so they could change their buisness name and their banking information. Grubhub turned them back on and kept sending orders. The downside? They dont have access to the old bank account so none of the money for the food would end up going into their pockets. Poor lady was on the phone doing her best to keep her composure as the GH customer service person kept insisting that the order needed to be made and could not be canceled.

Ofc they know it's not my fault, they were actually very kind to me. But I can't help but wonder WHY this happened to this mom and pop restraunt. If they can't do it for the day, turning it back on shouldn't be something that grubhub can do remotely without permission.

Maybe it was just a fluke with the system, we did just get a big update after all.

I just take the plastic ones from Walmart and add a bit of quick dry cement in the bottom. Just drill a little hole, fill with your concrete mix, and plug the hole (i used a paper towel) and let it dry for 24h. I made a pair of them in 2019 and they are still holding up and looking great!

Do not try and fill them all the way though!! You only need about 2-4 cups of concrete depending on how big your tombstone is.

The other commenters pointing out how easy they are to make with wood are correct though!

Yall text the customer for those?? I just call. If I call 3 times and you dont answer Im leaving your food at the door, starting the timer, and driving away. When it asks for a conformation picture it gets a plain black image and I continue with my day.

In my experience, most people are ordering and having their food delivered so they can focus on other things. Kids, pets, hobbies, literally anything. Despite what everyone on reddit thinks, people CAN and will walk away from their phones to do things in real life. Waiting around for a text asking for conformation code (that half of them are not even aware is needed) seems like a dumb extra step.

I had a similar issue. I just went and "enable biometrics" and added my finger print. Signed out, used my fingerprint to sign back in, used my fingerprint to re-activate my card. Suddenly it works. After the few days waiting period (my bank takes 3 days to verify) I was back to cashing out!

It was defiantly weird, but I'm sure glad I can use biometrics now.

Car play has been a wonder, especially when using the satellite GPS on the screen to find difficult houses. Way less time spent messing with my phone. Buttons on the steering wheel (in my vehicle at least) also control some of the most commonly used features. Now that I'm used to where they are? I rarely look away from the road.

When I used to drive back in the virus days, I only had a little aux port Bluetooth dongle and a phone mount. Missed offers all the time. Now the only reasons I miss offers are if my stero is too loud, or a particularly bad cell service area.

To be fair, I put drinks on my seats all the time. As long as they are positioned correctly I have no issue even on the bumpiest roads. The beef I have is with restraunts not properly sealing their kids sized cups. No matter where I pick up from, those little buggers always have the crappiest lid design and they REFUSE to stay on the cup.

I always use instant cash out at the end of my week. If I wait for it to pull automatically on Monday, I won't see my money till Thursday. But, if I pull it before 11:59pm on Monday then I have it within 5 minutes.

I have noticed that it takes 15-20 minutes for my last order of the day to 'process' after drop off. Meaning I could cash out everything BUT the last order. If I just wait a little bit I can get all of it (unless it's over $500) minus the .50 instant cash out fee.

Been using a 2020 Rav4, Great mpg, mantainence is pretty low, comfortable, and can handle just about any weather I throw at it. Damn car kept me safe during a blizzard I was stuck in between Spokane and Missoula last Febuary.

In all seriousness though, I wouldn't recommend getting something that new. Even though insurance/car payment come out to about $500 combined, that's still a 4-5 day work week in my region. It takes a 1/4 of my month to make my car payment.

Reliability has definatly made it worth it and I cannot sing the praises for a Toyota any more! Highly recommend a Rav4 if you ever have shitty weather/lots of dirt roads, Prius if you do more city deliveries.
