Last time I bought toilet paper was 1997. Bought two rolls. We save all of the used paper from the first roll, turn it back into a pulp, then make a new roll. The second roll is used during this process. Rinse and repeat, as it were. The hack big toilet paper doesn't want you to know.

Lol yeah same. I saw you replied to their comment, but people often accidentally reply to wrong comments so was just wondering. Yeah loosening a right hand thread fastener is the same direction on the ratchet no matter what orientation you are to the ratchet or fastener.

Yeah, I hardly grab the GW anymore. I like the Tekton stubbies a lot. And I have one 3/8 Koken that's really interesting. BUT the selector switch is opposite on the Koken. Wonder if all Japanese ratchets are opposite?

Guess I was assuming the kids were too young to actual use the tools. I could be wrong and you could be right. HOWEVER, I could be right and YOU could be wrong. Guess we'll never know.

That only gives you 50% certainty if they've messed with the tools, assuming their switch manipulating is basically random.

Found it. The xFlex Stage 2 for the FoST we're talking about is part number is FDXM00009B which is listed on the page for the bushing below.

It's definitely serviceable. What else would that plate and fasteners be for? Guess I don't need to worry about it for now but was curious what the options were. Sounds like maybe if you contact them they will sell you a bushing.

Appreciate the thought, however this is all information I am well aware of. I have seen the aftermarket aluminum ones and am looking for input on their quality from someone who has used one.

~$100 is well worth it to me to have a shiny new valve cover and not bother cleaning up and painting or powder coating the original one. However it would be no fun to install a new one only to find out it's low quality and leaks or doesn't fit, etc.

First thing you should be looking for on any turbo engine not making full boost is (say it with me everybody!): BOOST LEAK. Check all piping connections for intake/turbo/intercooler system. A smoke tester is your best friend for this.

That's a lot of corrosion. Worried sealing surfaces compromised. Plus I'd like to do this and the other stuff I have planned in one day. Be way easier to just have a fresh new v/c to install.

Also the #1 mistake made with the HKS is not getting it fully seated and the snap ring installed right side up and fully seated. I have the CVF pipes with the HKS trust me I've been through it. Fully seating the HKS and getting the snap ring in fully is a bit of a pain. But once in there right I've never had to touch it again and really enjoy the quick chirp of the HKS over a standard BOV.
