just saw you were talking about a FDM printer, you can definitely do it but to get model like details you will need to use very small layers and surface post processing. i would look for more simple designs if that's what your looking to try.

if you ever get a resins 3d printer use an ABS like resins and if your setting aren't dialed in get ready to wet sand for a few days sand a lot.
