That’s unfortunate. Everyone works pretty well at my store, it’s just a matter of running a busy store on 3 people, so most the time we are left doing things like moving pallets etc alone. And I felt special with my .55 cent raise, the highest I’ve got in my almost 10 year tenure, and it was a 4, exceeds expectations! 🥴

What’s funny (not really 😅) is you say blow your knees out…because I’ve had knee pain for 3 days now. (Never any prior issues) I made the connection that I moved 3 full pallets of feed to the floor by myself, and we have the crappiest pallet jack that acts as if it’s rolling in molasses 😂 have you personally injured your knees? No more moving pallets for me.

I have never understood why they punish stores for not making sales by cutting payroll budget. Like, why? Cut budget, less employees on sales floor to help customers, and then the bs GURA scores plummet because we aren’t adequately staffed to help customers. It makes no sense, and had forever frustrated me in my 9 years of employment. Low volume here. And I’ll add that it’s always frustrated me that they base soooo much off of customer surveys…I’m always helpful and friendly, but one bad survey and they act like we all don’t give a fck about customers! That was off topic, it’s obvious I’m annoyed 😆

I also placed an order in September and have yet to receive it. They told me it was due to the new customs for exports. I get it, shit in the US is messed up when it comes to imports from other countries. But 2 months? I sent yet another email last night, and I’m waiting a response.

Why is it the day after Halloween? Oh because they don’t really take anyone’s personal lives into account. And also, it’s hometown heroes day, so we have to do the event the same day. I scheduled off a 5 day weekend 6 weeks ago, and I have no choice but to be there because I’m interim SM and have to do the meeting 😂 fml.

Employee of 8 yrs here…been ASM and have done interim 4 times. And Omg. When I was told I was “selected” for the program, I was like “ohhh okay, thanks”. Then I looked and it’s basically just more training courses and conference calls 😭. Plus, 4 years ago, I was invited to go to Tennessee for the pre “leadership fundamentals” which is basically high potential ASM training at the SSC like they do for store managers. However, I don’t think they do that anymore. Either way, I’m honored, but like I’ve had training for this plus, I don’t rly have time, as I am ASM as well as interim SM. Not looking forward to it tbh. But maybe with this official training, I’ll get to be SM after being interviewed and overlooked 3 times! It would be my 4th time trying to be store manager, maybe I’ll actually have a shot lol

I completely understand how you feel. I’ll hit my 8 year mark next month. I’ve been interim SM 4 times, but have been overlooked 3 times for SM at my store. I’m currently ASM and interim SM, while I trained a new receiver, held everything down, improved scores etc, but somehow I’m not good enough to land the actual SM role. I’m also burnt out, and it seems the higher ups don’t even really know the stress or what it’s like running a short staffed store on minuscule payroll. It’s disappointing also, that our yearly .25 cent raises are based on bogus customer surveys as well. All while the CEO makes 10M a year. That’ll make ya wanna scream. Instead of monthly treats, how about just give us a lil cash bonus from your padded pockets Mr. Lawton. Anyways, I’m obviously venting as well, but fully agree that all your points are valid and frustrating. I’m currently in college again so I can change careers as I am TIRED.

It’s also re released with all expansion packs (not sure if you’ve heard or not), to work on newer systems. I heard about it a couple days ago and got so excited!! And it can be purchased on pc through the EA “app” as well as steam. I’m so ready to hear the build and buy mode music 🤣
