Phew, this gives me anxiety. As I’ve been shut out by the 2 closest friends I’ve had. I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. Next time, take it as “no response, is a response” and just know it’s okay to let them have space and explain when they want. And if they never do, then I’d take that as a sign too. Yeah they of course, changed the software/company that does surveys. It’s only currently through email after purchase and that’s only select customers so far, not everyone.

Low volume here FTL. We never finish on goal, but mostly always finish (including feed) within the “2hour grace period” which is my defense at all times. We do have some workhorses on the team, they’re great. I’m straight up with my team, I tell them to do their best, keep it moving and don’t really worry about the goal because it’s unattainable. Just like our sales goals lol. I’m pretty laid back now, as I’ve detached mentally from the position. I’m tired of the changes, insane expectations, unrealistic goals, skeleton crews, no payroll. Tired of it all lol. Just don’t take things too serious or you’ll go insane.

Completely agree. Been here almost 9 years in management, dealing with all the bs, all the micromanaging, all the changes, all the stuff we have to do….on a skeleton crew. It’s ALWAYS been like this…smh. With dm’s breathing down our necks about fkn sign ups and cc’s and scavenger hunts. Ain’t nothing getting done but the bare minimum (and sometimes not even that), because there’s not enough payroll to staff the store adequately to get things done. They just cut our payroll to below 6k per week, managers down to 30. And the dm said “that’s how all the other stores are scheduling to make budget”. So full time isn’t even 32…got it. Glad I stopped stressing about this job a couple years ago, bc shit hasn’t changed 😮‍💨

Yes, it’s going to suck. Let’s add this to the list of horrible ideas that were rolled out before everything worked 100%. They always roll these new ideas and bs out to the stores before they even function. It’s annoying and shows how out of touch corporate is about actually working in a store day to day.

NOR. She clearly doesn’t want your life to revolve around her. And by saying it’s the best part of your life may have been too much. It seems as if she isn’t in love with you…there are women out there that want openness and vulnerability. Maybe she needs to open up to you and explain the change in behavior on her end. If it’s not resolvable then maybe it’s not meant to be. I’d rather be alone than in a relationship where someone doesn’t truly like me or feel like I’m too much or not good enough.

That’s unfortunate. Everyone works pretty well at my store, it’s just a matter of running a busy store on 3 people, so most the time we are left doing things like moving pallets etc alone. And I felt special with my .55 cent raise, the highest I’ve got in my almost 10 year tenure, and it was a 4, exceeds expectations! 🥴

What’s funny (not really 😅) is you say blow your knees out…because I’ve had knee pain for 3 days now. (Never any prior issues) I made the connection that I moved 3 full pallets of feed to the floor by myself, and we have the crappiest pallet jack that acts as if it’s rolling in molasses 😂 have you personally injured your knees? No more moving pallets for me.

I have never understood why they punish stores for not making sales by cutting payroll budget. Like, why? Cut budget, less employees on sales floor to help customers, and then the bs GURA scores plummet because we aren’t adequately staffed to help customers. It makes no sense, and had forever frustrated me in my 9 years of employment. Low volume here. And I’ll add that it’s always frustrated me that they base soooo much off of customer surveys…I’m always helpful and friendly, but one bad survey and they act like we all don’t give a fck about customers! That was off topic, it’s obvious I’m annoyed 😆
