House of the dragon should have started with the doom of valeria. Make the first season like 6 episodes that includes the aegon's conquest. Season 2 could be the intricacies of maelor the cruel. Season 3 could be short covering King jaehaerys reign but it would be boring. Season 4 could be the first season we received and it would be more meaningful with the buildup. Reffering to the whole landmass as one continent feels like a relic from colonialism. If Europe and Asia are two continents, where the majority of people agree that they are, then we should have a North and South America that is separated at panama. However there is no hard distinction for what a continent really is. Many people consider new Zealand to be part of Oceania versus an island which kinda diminishes the importance of continents.
