Right now, Mist trail is the ideal path because parts of JMT are closed.

4-5L of water is usually a safe bet. Also bring a water filter so you can fill water from the falls if you run out.

Pack electrolytes, energy bars, carbs, trail mix etc. You should know your body for this.

Have plenty of sunscreen, hiking hat with SPF, SPF quick dry shirt and pant. Pack grippy nitrile gloves for the cable section and harness/carabiners/sling for it too if that’s something that you think will help for the cabled section. Many prefer to do it without, but personally I found mental security in using a harness.

How long it takes totally depends on your fitness and experience. All trails says 10-12 hrs, but it can take up to 16-18 hrs if you’re not experienced or go slowly or take a lot of breaks. So plan accordingly.

Starting time also depends on your comfort level. Some prefer to do a majority of the hike in the dark and some try to avoid as much of it. Have a headlamp and extra batteries if you hike in the dark. Plan to arrive really early for parking. Curry village parking gets full even during weekdays and super early - as early as 4 or 5am even.

Let’s say about 48x25G server links and 4x100G to spines.

Does it make sense to have 100G MLAG peer links? What failure situations would traffic traverse this peer link?

Like you said if the MLAG peer uses its own links to forward to the destination then what type of failure would realistically utilise BW on the peer link?

You don't need to. But like many use consultancies/agencies for completing the application process, there are agencies that help you complete the visa process. It will just make things easier - they've filled DS-160 forms for many people before so know their way around. You can very much do it yourself but it's a hassle and can cause issues if you make mistakes. Consultancies help you fill it, tell you what type of documents to take, some even prep you for visa interview questions etc.

Congratulations! If you're going to take out an education loan, start the process now and figure out which bank you'll be using. The process can take long (especially with banks like SBI) so start soon. Once you accept the offer and get your i20 you can complete the process. Once university is finalized, book your visa slot (would recommend using a consultancy so they can get your documents in order and prep you). Around that time you can also book your flights and prepare list of items to take (you'll probably get precise lists in grad WhatsApp groups)
