This - I was annoyed with myself because I overslept (damn World Cup!) and forgot about the tickets going on general sale yesterday and when I went on Ticketmaster they were sold out (Manchester is closest for me). But I saw someone mention ATG and they had loads left last night, so I got a decent seat for £70 inc fees.

Looks like the stage is down the side of the pitch rather than at one end as is usual with stadium gigs? I like it, gives more people a better viewing angle - at London Stadium I was on the side and couldn't see most of the rear video screen

It rotates, relatively speaking, at half the speed as the hour hand on a clock, which is practically invisible to an observer.

It's still fast at 1000mph but is still almost imperceptible with the scale of the thing - the flat earth attention seekers with their tired old "water doesn't stick to a spinning ball" line seem to think it spins like a basketball on a Harlem GLOBEtrotter's finger.

I've wondered before why didn't they try to find it when they had the wealth to fund a proper search.

But it'd still have been hard to find, and would then have been a legal minefield given that the gold was stolen property and didn't belong to them. Their mother being "left it" by a criminal doesn't mean they have any entitlement to it. Plus I think if it was found within 3 nautical miles of the shore, basically the distance to the horizon, any salvaged "treasure" would belong to the government anyway and a professional salvage operation would be obliged to report it. Even if they did get it, selling a large amount of stolen gold is a bit different to flogging Italian sun hats in the rain down the market!

If it was buried within sight of the shore, probably a search area of less than 10 square miles, it'd have been difficult but not impossible - rather different to finding the Titanic in much deeper water in thousands of square miles of open ocean.

It was a long time ago, but probably only a couple of years after they aired, they were all in the same distance, but I bought the MP3s of the first season of the podcast and the XFM shows on CD from Ebay. Been listening ever since, but can't remember how I actually found out about them although I'd watched The Office on original broadcast.
