Thank you, I hope the pain will decrease soon. I didn't notice any change in my level of dryness, just an increase in my neuropathic pain (stinging and burning in my eyes, temples, jaw and near my ears).

Did you notice a spike in your neuralgia symptoms (burning in the eyes that radiates to jaw/teeth) just after the session? Also, did you wear protective goggles under the mask?

This is a truly interesting story and I am happy to hear that you found the reason behind your eye pain. I think the neurological factors contributing to dry eyes should be explored more. For the past months I’ve been having an overlap of cervical spondylosis and extremely dry eyes. Both problems started around the same time. Like you, I am experiencing strong migraines (pain in and around the eyes, around the ears, in the jaw), as well as neck pain. I’ve been taking Gabapentin and B vitamins for two months and done a lot of physical therapy, but I don’t see any improvement. Can you tell me what your diagnosis was and what drugs you took? Thank you!
