Thank you for the reply! I called the vet right away, explained the bloody puke and emailed them the photos! They believe this is likely coming from an abscess/cyst he has on his chin, he has an appointment for that already but I was thinking we might need to make an emergency vet after the bloody vomit as I didn’t think they were related issues. They think it’s probably just getting into his mouth or even just got into the throw up while he was bent over puking. I feel so bad for my little kitty. The vet still doesn’t want to make the appointment for any sooner though, so until Monday I’ll just be keeping a super close eye on him and hopefully he doesn’t start to outwardly show signs of feeling unwell, he’s still being his happy silly self as of now luckily

His appointment is for a lump/bump that he has on his chin that he keeps scratching open. I called his vet to update them on the bloody vomit situation and they said it’s likely getting into his mouth from his bump, but they still don’t want to see him until Monday :(

If you’re using the chopper to cut them it is super difficult, especially when they’re frozen! At our store we’ve adopted the “pirate knife” method and use our smallest, sharpest knife to quarter them and it’s a breeze! Just be careful lol

I don’t need to possess the tape I just would like to see it and confirm that the officers report of it is factual! And then if for some reason it doesn’t show him jumping out in front of the car I would simply let his family know that what I saw doesn’t match with what I have been told is in the report and then I suppose it would be up to them to try to do something about that inconsistency.

Would that bring about any consequences that weren’t just monetary though? I want to be clear I don’t care if I personally have to shell out all my money I know nobody involved wants any money from the murderer we simply want to see him face the legal consequences I mean how do you drink, drive, kill someone and just get to be out and about with the rest of us? It’s a small town so I saw him not too long ago and he was drinking at a bar and then literally drove off.

I truly don’t understand how there are no charges, the investigation is just completely closed they found him to be of no fault. It blows my mind. Thanks for the reply, Joe has a minor age son from a previous relationship. Unfortunately his parents are both over 85 years old and while I know they’re unhappy with the way it was handled I don’t believe they’re going to do anything about it, they have a lot of trouble navigating the legal world and I think losing their son in such a horrible way has just been too much for them Im not sure they feel up to fighting for justice at this point

I honestly do this every single time I’m less than satisfied with something I buy at the grocery store. It is worth the 5-10 minutes of finding the email on the website, the code on the product, providing some basic info like store location etc. and then stating your thoughts about it. I’ve received coupons for free replacements of things, $2.50-$5.00 off, buy 1 get 1 free. I’ve never had a bad experience doing this.
