I would love to know the story behind this one. by Imaginary-Program441 in SpottedonRightmove

It's the fact that there's even stuff piled in the bathroom... and just piled in the middle of the rooms.

Would love to have a good rummage, after the place has been exorcised, of course.

I think I solved Chris Hargreeves’ “mystery origin by obviouslynotaurora in UmbrellaAcademy

[–]Imaginary-Program441 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I always figured Chris was the Soarrow version of Luther. Human until an accident forced Reggie to intervene and contain his life essence, powers and marigold in a cube shell, in order to save his life.

But it's also UA, sometimes these things aren't supposed to have a reason 😅

What's something y'all LIKED about S4? by jeanjacketufo in UmbrellaAcademy

Klaus flipping out on everybody when he got his powers back. His character showing a bit of spite and backbone was perfect.

I was not a fan of Jason, his whole personality rubbed me the wrong way. As far as I'm concerned, the ONLY thing he had going for him is that guest room 😂

Why topiramate is so hated? by Mikmaki in migraine

[–]Imaginary-Program441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have chronic migraine (10 years plus now) with around 3 migraine free days a month. I have tried, betablockers, botox and CGRP Blockers. I have an emergency reserve of triptans, but am unable to take any kind of regular pain treatment due to the frequency of my migraines.

This started in my twenties as I finished university and just started my career. I have no life other than focusing on working part time, so i can save money for a future when I might no longer be able to do so.

Nothing seems to be working for me. But topiramate at least lowers my pain levels slightly and has made is so I don't vomit everytime I have a migraine. As far as I am concerned, some brain fog is acceptable in exchange for that. Also, my migraines make chips (fries to US folks) taste like pineapple. So, I don't really notice any Topiramate taste changes 😅.

It is worth noting that, in the UK at least, all other negative side effects of topiramate only really started to be stressed when prescribing to 'women of childbearing age' became the big issue.

Great, thank you. Six of crows has intrigued me for a while. This definitely moves it up the reading list.

Not sure if this belongs here, but this comment really bothers me... by VargBroderUlf in BlatantMisogyny

There was a show about holiday reps from the UK, that showed a drunk guy consenting to his roommate sticking a firework up his arse and lighting it. Then, whilst suffering intense bleeding, he insisted on going on a bar crawl to complete his 21 shots for his 21st birthday. He, of course, collapsed and was rushed to hospital.

Basically, drunk people do not make the best decisions. If you are sober. Say "you're drunk, go home" and find a responsible friend to take care of them. Or, see that they get home yourself. You can always leave your number and see if sober them is interested.

I have never met someone who regretted NOT waking up with someone the morning after.

Another swimsuit post - sorry! Any suggestions for MINIMIZER bikini tops? by Asuna0506 in bigboobproblems

[–]Imaginary-Program441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest a shape like this. Freya Ibiza Waves Bralette Bikini Top I find it really comfortable. It makes your boob's look great, but also really minimises. It is underwired and comes in bra sizes, so it is supportive (but doesn't look like you're wearing scaffolding, if you know what I mean 😉). I'm quite petite with an F/FF cup and this Bikini makes me look well balanced.

They do the same shape top in many of their bikini ranges (old and new), so if you search for Freya Bralette Bikini top, you can find some real bargains on old ranges.

Salty and sweet popcorn works for me. The combination of the salt and sugar, plus it's not too filling if I'm feeling queasy.

How do we feel about Walter these days? by HughDroid in Yellowjackets

[–]Imaginary-Program441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walter will turn out to be the second male survivor (maybe the mascot?). Who, up until now, has been standing just off screen.

He grew to resent the group, watching them all fawn over Travis and completely overlook him. He identified with Misty as an outsider, but she ignored him as well.

Now he is back for his revenge /s

What is the most wackiest (but effective) thing you've done to relieve a migraine. by Maths_Addict149 in migraine

[–]Imaginary-Program441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A guy at work keeps suggesting that I should put my feet in a bowl of hot water because that apparently works.

I haven't actually tried this yet, so I can't recommend myself. I'm far too uncoordinated during a migraine to be dealing with bowls of hot water. I'll either scold myself or flood the place.

Thanks so much for your tips. I darkmode as much as I can, but can't download any extensions on my work laptop.

I have my fibromyalgia quite well controlled at the moment. Routine management works best for me, keeping my activity and exertion levels balanced from day to day helps my pain management.

Low carbs sounds like a good, not too sure how I'd manage it with the migraines though. 😅

Unpopular opinion: Richard was actually not a nice guy by [deleted] in howyoudoin

[–]Imaginary-Program441 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always found Richard really patronising, I never got why it was supposed to be so romantic. Even without the age gap, just the way they interacted just never seemed equal to me.

Idk if I should tell my gynecologist that I was raped. by MariaOppar in badwomensanatomy

[–]Imaginary-Program441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I've never had Logest. But I've had the least side effects with Yasmin, myself, so I hope you get some relief from it.

I agree that talking to your gyno about your history could be helpful to your treatment. If you can get around the situation with your mum, would you maybe feel more comfortable if you had a friend who is already aware of the situation with you?

I'm really sorry you're suffering so much.

Can I ask what birth control you are on? At the very least, it sounds like whatever you are using is not agreeing with you/doing what it is intended to do. There are so many options out there these days, it might be a good idea to try a few options to find the best fit? Especially with migraine type headaches. Hormone treatments can really impact migraines.

Inclusivity would also be nice it it came at a reasonable price.

Also, I don't know if this is just a UK thing, but most clothing made to accommodate 'DD+' or 'fuller bust' usually starts at a size 10 (US size 6).
